As far as I remember you are pretty much good to eat anything you would from a regular animal, except the brain (and by extension probably any other part of the nervous system), because those cause prions diseases like Creutzfeld Jakob and similar.
If the rest of the body could fuck you up like that, then the people from the Andes plane crash (if anyone remembers that, if not see here) wouldn't have had survived and lived long after that, since they had to resort to cannibalism.
And since mister Neuroscience would at least know what would be part of the nervous system (at the very least), I can believe he ate everything else and maybe composted the brain or something other. At least I don't find this to be a completely unlikely reality, given how unhinged he is and given what he considers "good food" (I mean, just remember the christmas meals he showed on stream.. Perhaps that was actually foreshadowing).

I don't see JF as doing this. I don't see him going out into the wilderness, I don't see her going out into the wilderness, either. I don't see him renting a boat. I don't see him risking being witnessed transporting a corpse.

I'm not saying it's impossible, just highly unlikely.

On the flip side, we have a small, nebbish, extremely online man, who fancies himself a serial killer prodigy, as demonstrated by his intricate critiques of 'Dexter' and true crime cases similar to his own murder case. We have video of him showcasing his hazmat suit. We have him oddly volunteering that he redid his drywall (an expensive and exhausting project, which 95%+ people hire a contractor to perform), we have him saying he had to "sanitize" his home. We have his odd statement about Elora "spilling water" on a computer causing him to have to destroy it. We have his photos of pressure cookers and frozen bones for soup stock. We have his statements over the years that he knows all about killing monkeys for his psych lab experiments. Etc. We have the fact that his neighbors seem to imply that he's virtually a shut-in, and nobody ever sees them outside.

If you put all that together, it just seems far more likely he murdered her in the home. He might have had to transport a few of the larger items (skull, hip bone, thighs), but I think that at least the killing itself and most of the body disposal was done at home.

He definitely murder her in the home. Most likely in a fit of rage, as is usually the case for spousal murder. The cold blooded planned spouse murder dominate the True Crime content only because they are interesting outliers compared to extremely common, boring yet tragic “got really angry and killed wife” murders that occur every damn day.

The fact there were two small children in the home up the odds on a rage killing. Divorces and murders rocket up statistically with a second child (born within two years of the first) due to the increased stress and long term sleep deprivation.

JF thinks he’s a criminal mastermind and he’s Dexter Superfan. Once he calmed down I’m sure he would be ready to go the extra mile in getting rid of the body and all trace evidence. He ripped out and re-did the kitchen, which is what you do because you can’t get all the blood protein traces out of wood framing, sub-flooring and various crevices. You can’t use bleach on everything so get rid of what you cant.

The reason I think it was a rage killing is because of the house remodeling and very sloppy “she went off to zee woods” story. Had he been LARP’ing Dexter for a planned perfect murder he would not have needed to remodel parts of his house. A planned murder should keep evidence neatly contained and easy to clean up, not remodel house levels. The story of her departure would have not been so laughably bad and sus.

Like most socially maladjusted narcissists JF just killed his wife in a fit of rage. He may have had the idea on the back burner of his mind. I’m sure he thinks a lot about murdering women for funsies, but when it happened it was an intimate partner murder done in a fit of rage (just like 90% of spousal murders when they are still cohabiting).

I think JF’s mother is involved on some level. You can’t have a newborn and toddler around when you are disposing of their mom’s body and cleaning up a crime scene. It’s not uncommon for grandparents to help out with murder when grandkids are involved. I also don’t believe JF is caring for his children, I think he turned them over to his own mother to raise after he murdered his wife. Grandmas sometimes covet their grandchildren and disapprove of their mother, which is very helpful in the event of a murder. Grandma can be very pleased they get to be “mom” once the actual mother is out of the way.

Last year there were two very public cases of terminally ill grandparents murdering ex-wives for their sons. Far more common is grandparents helping their child cover up a spousal murder. They all rationalize it as being in the best interest of the little ones. There were several murders last year where grandparents were charged with crimes for helping to cover up, and lie to police, for a child that killed their spouse.

Whoever was caring for the children in the wake of the murder, which i’m betting was his own mother, would be key to the investigation. JF is relying on his own mother to keep the story straight, and lie as requested, about the days and weeks following Mama JF’s disappearance.

I watched the first 25 min or so of JF's show tonight where he discusses what happened to him in the past 2 months. Of course he is being cagey and vague as usual.

1:55 the state was attempting to kidnap him and his family.
2:55 he is traumatised and barely escaped
3:30 he was accused of not mentally sound and not caring for his kids
3:49 neighbours saw he had a new girlfriend, was taking out trash and this is what started the chain of events that led to JF having to flee.
6:09 he is in a "wonderful conservative province"
8:15 someone called the swat team at his mother's place in Quebec while he was staying there
9:15 Jf claims that this was done to him to mentally test his new girlfriend
10:15 he had to sell a house and buy a house
10:49 he is in a province of "gas, oil and big pickups"
12:39 ugly nosy women are the cause of his issues
15:45 some of his credit cards have been cancelled by the authorities
17:25 at some point while in QC he was only 5 minutes ahead of the swat team.
18:05 he had to lie to his mother about where he was for his and her safety

So JF is now in Alberta as we suspected.

It sounds like a concerned neighbour called in PEI child protective services after seeing the new girlfriend and JF cleaning house. They were going to take his children away and he fled before they could do so. He escaped to his mother's place in Quebec where swat teams were called and he escaped by the skin of his teeth.

I would be surprised if the 2 incidents are related, if somehow PEI child services had put in a nationwide warrant for his arrest he wouldn't be safe in Alberta either, and JF claims he talked to his local police department and they said they had no reason to detain him.

Perhaps he was snaked by one of his family member while at his mom's, perhaps Elora's family got involved or something else entirely. Do we know why he moved out of Quebec to begin with? If his move was politically motivated he would have gone west immediately since the Atlantic provinces are as liberal as Quebec, if not more.

In this clip he mainly bitches about female cops being incompetent. He says that the first cops he talked to were all business, getting DNA and trying to get to the bottom of things. Then a female officer went to talk to him, but she was only enquiring about his personal life.

Either
A) They shifted their investigation towards him.
B) After looking into JF's online activities they sent a female cop to get under his skin.

At around 38:00 he bitches about the Quebec cops and their lack of intelligence. Clip below.

And towards the end (1:04:00) he answers a few superchats that mention Elora's disappearance.
