What's "BRIDGE"?
To put it very simply, it's just rebranded D.E.I. - As more Whites get hip to that game, the (agenda pushers) have a nasty habit of rebranding things to take the spotlight off of what they now consider to be a "tainted image". B.R.I.D.G.E. is just D.I.E. on steroids. Welcome to the rabbit hole.
Blue submarine No. 6
About the last people on earth fighting against these mutants in a mostly flooded earth. Janky CG but it's alright for an early 2000s show.
Few things can make me feel what the ED of blue sub 6 does. It's pretty unique and special.

To be a bit more specific, it's an initiative sponsored by a number of companies, NGOs, and the US Department of Homeland Security to fully embed "The Work" in every operational aspect of corporate culture and operations, to the extent that it is no longer a specific set of rules or edicts, but rather a constant drive like the profit motive that no one questions because everyone takes it as a given.

How did a fujobait VN anime adaptation get such an AWESOME opening song?! This is like something you'd hear in an over-the-top mecha show.

Oh, also I can prove Drama Queen isn't about those stinky minorities like Twitter claims.

There's a nigger walking by, and no one cares. Shocker.
After reading Drama Queen myself, I think the aliens are a metaphor for Americans since they check off more boxes especially with how the main characters in Drama Queen have specific beef with one alien species, and I think they resemble Americans.

First the aliens are all fucking fat, which is a common stereotype of Americans.

There's also how Americans act very entitled in Japan especially with the issue of tourists like with Logan Paul.

Another stereotype of Americans is how entitled they are which some of the aliens do display.

More Japanese women would marry Americans which is also why the scene of the alien/human couple make sense

The fact that Japan worships the aliens for bringing advanced technology to the country, which America did after World War II. Not to mention, the idea of Japan being extra kind to American tourists at times. If it was a critique on racial minority groups, the analogy falls apart given the common idea of them being lazy as hell. So them an analogy for America makes more sense, since I doubt Drama Queen was made for Western Audiences.

Hell that doesn't even mention the characters speculating that the aliens saved Earth from a disaster that could've been caused by the aliens to claw their way into society, which could sound similar to the American Occupation and Reconstruction after WW2.

tl;dr Drama Queen is most likely about Americans because because of WW2 related stuff connected to DQ's worldbuilding.

The show is boring.
If I want to watch a low-budget BL adaptation in that 2000s era, I'd rather watch rewatch Sukisho. By low-budget, I mean watching it now, anime is so dated and horrible drawn in many scenes.

Since Gundam is huge, literally the 4 characters' VAs above have been in Gundam. Both blue hair personalities day (Sora) and night (Yoru) are Heero Yuy and Mu Flaga repsectively. Pink one (Sunao) is Kira. Black - dark green is Lockon Stratos and the school nurse is Athrun.
It isn't the only time you get Takehito Koyasu and Soichiro Hoshi as a BL pair either. GetBackers is another one featuring them and has even many and yet two main protags having more official BL promotion than them.

I agree, which is a shame because so many 2000s anime are like that when you'd think the 2000s would be a goldmine for all sorts of crazy, experimental shows. 2000s anime had the potential to surpass the OVA era by getting guaranteed enough episodes not to be cancelled yet being short and low-budget enough to allow for creative premises and ideas, but they mostly wasted their time on pointless filler and lacked the cool action, immersive worldbuilding, and designs that made OVAs worthwhile. Somehow Rouran managed to be boring despite being a safe Iczer-1 with a SKYSCRAPER THAT CAN TRANSFORM INTO A BATTLESHIP! Somehow Kiss Dum ended up a slog despite being a Lovecraft anime with a flying car, mostly because they focused too much on a kid with boring superpowers. Somehow Gravion S1 was lacklustre -- you don't need to focus so much on ecchi when you're a freaking Masami Obari mecha anime! Gigantic Formula, Macross Frontier, STRAIN, Viper's Creed, Argento Soma, Last Exile, Tetsujin 2004, and Shin Mazinger were all twice as long as they needed to be, and Great Dangaioh was half as long as it needed to be, which leaves us with Dendoh, Webdiver, SEED Destiny, SIN: The Movie, Gravion Zwei, Dancouga Nova, Machine Robo Rescue, Gaiking LODM, Shin Jeeg, Aquarion, Starship Operators, Tytania, and anything Leiji Matsumoto-related as just about the only worthwhile 2000s anime. Why were they so idiotic about this? I'd rather have 12-13 episodes of nonstop action and coolness than have half the show's runtime be irrelevant SOL and character-focused garbage (if you want to develop characters, have them DO STUFF rather than TALK nonstop; why can't anime understand show don't tell?!) or shows where absolutely nothing happens. It makes sense why the anime fanbase got flooded with incel chuds around the 2000s; nothing ever happens in most of those shows!

I got Maria Watches Over Us. It reminds me of Oniisama E and Antique Bakery. Hopefully its better than Maria Holic because tf was that. The long haired girl is giving Satsuki from Azumanga vibes and the main girl reminds me of the lead from Neighborhood Story.

Also I am watching the Nadia infamous Island Arc where they fucked up the story so badly as well as having Koreans botch the animation so poorly that Anno came back and yelled at everyone (or he flipped a switch and the temporary guy in charge fell down a trap door). The fact that it encompasses like 12 episodes or something is appalling. It is horrible to know that it aired on NHK for over three months!!!

I know we don't have a Bleach thread, but did anyone else catch the new episode of TYBW? If anyone was following it or thinking of doing so, this wasn't just a good one, but rather a pretty great one. It's adapted from manga material that was pretty decent, but as a 25 minute episode, really landed the mark. It's probably my favorite whole episode so far.

I hate these people so bloodthirstily much lmao. This kinda shit is why Drama Queen was censored.

I can't believe I almost subscribed to Shueisha's Manga Plus app just to support the manga, now they've fucking censored it. I wonder if there's gonna be fan translations, I can't trust what I'm reading anymore and don't want an edgy manga that's neutered.

i should read this

I'm basically on a massive delay in when I catch up on shit, so I finally got to the last season of Kengan Ashura.
The fight between Cosmo and Ohma was beyond my wildest dreams, I have never seen such an insane grappling match in all of anime that so perfectly portrayed not just the detail of the techniques but also the sheer brutality of a grappling match that can only end in completely subduing your opponent. Cosmo falling back for Backside 50/50 Heelhooks, Ohma going for spine locks, the pain and exhaustion, and the end where Cosmo is gurgling and desperately trying to think of a way out of a brutal Arm-Trangle/Giftwrap thing as he's being strangled, I've never seen anything like it it was legendary.
It was done so well that even if you know nothing of grappling you can understand what's going on and how deadly effective these holds are and why neither want to give an inch, and if you have been there you greatly respect the amount of detail and care they put into reflecting the reality of submission grappling.
