Ehh not really. Not in the case of nursing homes. They could give him leeway in his fartboxes because they were fartbox housing, essentially a more secure section 8 shithole, but mallon place is a licensed nursing home with elderly residents and filled with vulnerable individuals. They have quite a few legal responsibilities when it comes to protecting them and being proactive about it. If they ignore shit and give too much leeway they're liable to face lawsuits and criminal charges over even a fairly minor incident, and risk their license getting pulled over safety issues. Seedy though places like mallon place are, if somebody gets hurt or even feels like they're unsafe and the staff do nothing about it they can get into serious shit over it. The only real leeway they can give somebody like lucas is to have a guard follow him around like they do with dementia patients who have to be there for health reasons but are too dangerous to others to be left to their own devices without constant supervision. We all know how that would end. Fact is lucas has already crossed some legal lines by giving out names of residents (major privacy violation) and he's shown more than enough aggression and inclination toward there being a future incident that either of them could get him kicked out if they found out about his psycho behavior on camera and wanted to make an issue of it. Particularly since its already by his own admission led him to going mental enough to threaten suicide and get hospitalized over it and his DV incident. Lucas is on far thinner ice than he realizes. He is very fortunate they don't know about those videos, especially given his history
