The beauty industry is a literal behemoth, almost every shop/service store will contain at least one thing related to beauty, that is how serious many women are about taking care of themselves and delaying any signs of looking older. I've been to mechanic and auto stores which randomly had lip balms and hand creams for sale at the counter.

TL;DW: Moids being moids with impunity in academia make women drop out. Women drop out at higher rates than men, creating a "leaky pipeline" from undergrad all the way to graduate and post graduate. Though some higher profile people (Laurence Krauss, Jeff Marcy JUST in astrophysics) have been thoroughly exposed and called out by dozens of women (with few consequences coming to the moid and lots of dire consequences to the women), hundreds, likely thousands of "open secret" serial harassers and rapists still work and thrive in their fields.

Then moids turn around and talk about women not belonging in science, muh "men build everything" and write retarded articles wondering about why there's not more women in male dominated fields. I was very into STEM subjects, specifically astrophysics. I attended Girls in STEM conferences, spoke with people who work at NASA and Johns Hopkins, my desk is filled with patches, posters, and stickers for various rockets, satellites, and probes. And then I hit high school. The boys in my elective science classes were awful. If not circlejerking over how smart they were, they actively excluded girls (of which there were few) from projects or would sit back and let them do all the work.

I had a consistent group of girls for projects that halfway through the year, some moid got stuck into because no one else wanted him. Smug little faggot kept arguing with me over how I did my math but the one time I let him do it, half the answers were wrong. He got butthurt I cited it as his work in the powerpoint. I certainly wasn't going to let people think it was my work. I excused it by reminding him I always put our names on our slides so everyone in the group gets credit for their contributions. I couldn't imagine doing that in college for several years where it was even less likely I'd have a female group and later finding out how much worse it could've been, I'm glad I decided not to go that route though I do wish I had the option to without moids around.

The average 40-60 year old man in my country looks like a human-sized teratoma or a physical embodiment of several sins. I would care less if it was only young internet poisoned scrotes saying this, since they look at male celebs all day and never actually see people outside, but this is a thing for all age groups.
