he was also senile for like the last 10 years of his life as a Senator, something needs to be done, but Congress is always going to vote in its own self-interest. thats the one inconsistency in the Constitution is that theres no real checks in terms of the President or Supreme Court being able to impose something on the Legislative BranchJoe Biden's best friend came close.

Potemkin is Communist bullshit.as far as the movie talk, I know folks are talking submarine movies, but if you haven't seen battleship potemkin, you should remedy that. It's one of the better movies from one of the best eras in cinema.
That was by design. They just fought a king. They wanted the executive, and to a lesser extent the courts, to be weaker than the legislature, which would be able to tard wrangle both. It got debated a lot at the time, and the system we ended up with was a compromise of a lot of arguing, coping, seething, and madling between the Founding Fathers.he was also senile for like the last 10 years of his life as a Senator, something needs to be done, but Congress is always going to vote in its own self-interest. thats the one inconsistency in the Constitution is that theres no real checks in terms of the President or Supreme Court being able to impose something on the Legislative Branch
that's not an indictment of the Found Fathers, multinational megacorps and lobbying didn't really exist in their time and so it made sense, but I think what we have found out over the past century or so is that 435+100 greedy retards are just as bad as having 1 greedy retard make all the laws, hell Washington gave up political powers and went back to his farm after his Presidency ended, its unfourtnate that Congress is not held to the same standardThat was by design. Go on Joe Rogan instead, lmaoDavid Axelrod’s podcast was the last place where members of the opposite party could sit down and share ideas.
Its not their fault. They cant look ahead 250 years. But given the cirumstances, its what they thought was best. Fuck Kings, were going with a slow grinding congress. Turns out that could be corrupted. Took time, but it happened. Again, some at the time brought it up, but that's why the executive and courts exist at all.that's not an indictment of the Found Fathers, multinational megacorps and lobbying didn't really exist in their time and so it made sense, but I think what we have found out over the past century or so is that 435+100 greedy retards are just as bad as having 1 greedy retard make all the laws, hell Washington gave up political powers and went back to his farm after his Presidency ended, its unfourtnate that Congress is not held to the same standard
The feedback on Harris comes as the vice president mulls her own future, weighing a third presidential run against a bid for California governor in 2026. Some party loyalists have said they’d back another presidential run, arguing that Biden’s late exit from the race burdened the vice president’s three-month sprint. But others are not ready to get on board for it.
Several participants also raised the transgender attack ad that the Trump campaign deployed against Harris, which showed a 2019 clip of her expressing support for gender affirming surgery for state prison inmates. The ad’s tagline included: “Kamala is for they/them. President Trump is for you.”
Democrats disagree on the potency of the attack ad, but several participants raised it unprompted in the focus groups.
There was some good news: Democrat attacks on Clarence Thomas are stalling out because of the Republican majority and AOC was denied a seat on the Oversight Committee. We should deport all the Mexicans.
Then invade Mexico.
But not give them citizenship.
And then deport them again.
Man, it's an exciting week.
The Navy shot down one of its own jets. They found a random (R) Senator in an old folk's home instead of in the Senate drooling on herself and shitting her diaper like everyone else, Dan Crenshaw embarrassed himself by waking up Dan Crenshaw, some spic lit a woman on the subway on fire and all of these white women are asking why nobody helped her or stopped the guy, all kinds of exciting stuff.
I don't see my fellow politisperg Kiwis before XMas, remember to leave some cookies and coke out for our resident slobber-mutt, long may he reign!
Hey! all the vampires I know are very nice!WOW YOU LIBS KEEP GOING AFTER VAMPIRES BECAUSE THEY'RE WHITE AND HAVE CASTLES WTF
they can’t handle his insanity despite the split between union workers for trump and their leaders for harrisAh geez, Rick, are liberals still wheeling out people who larp as military conservatives only to have them speak liberal talking points in a hope we see military guy and go "semper fi brother, I believe you because you look like me!"
It's like a fire losing air or material to continue burning, with how low profile Trump's been for the past few weeks, maybe they'll just shrivel up. Even their Hegseth offensive has stalled, they haven't even tried to go after Trump cologne.
Rare occurrence where Left and Rightoids actually agree on something, any of you who are mad, just read this:
I like that kick a critter after the dementia comes in.Unpopular opinion obviously but I think age limits or term limits would be like putting a band-aid on a "booboo" that really needs stitches.
We bitch about Nancy Pelosi a lot and for good reason. She's also one of the most cited examples as to why we need muh term and age limits. However, look at who is electing her. If she'd been forced out at age 70 or so, San Fran would've just replaced her with someone equally as retarded, if not even more retarded (think an AOC-type) a long time ago. But I suppose it'd be alright because the replacement would be like 30-something and those are immune to getting sick or incapacitated? The same goes for Mitch McConnell. Righties have an immense dislike of him but they keep getting him elected because "at least he's not a Democrat" and he gets neocon/uniparty money.
A better option would be making it easier to oust a critter once they become incapacitated, regardless of their age.

The White House released these pictures of the staff for '24. I'm not going to mock the little Shriner's hospital kid guy but I see at least two trannies, and it's emblematic of modern liberalism how Joepedo is off to the side in this photo and Shaniqua is the focal point. It's also a failing of presentation standards how these zoomers can't even dress appropriately and have suits and clothes that fit. Whatever happened to men learning you need to have at least one good suit?

I still have no idea where it came from but I hope the meme of referring to Trump and Vance as Luffy and Zoro and then using assorted One Piece references as names for real-world things never ends (just like people's dreams). It's so incredibly amusing and whimsical (to me at least).Trump making it clear to Big Mom:
Partly true, the founders rebelled against a legislature that did not adequately represent their interests. They actually appealed to the king and many thought he would take their side. The king ended up being pretty gung ho for the war and as head of state it follows that they'd address him in the declaration of independence(after he declined to help them and called them traitors). That was by design. Again, they fought a King. One that taxed them, sent their men into their streets to rape murder and pillage, and wouldn't listen. King George bears the responsibility for every American Death in the American Revolution and i hope he burns in fucking hell.Partly true, the founders rebelled against a legislature that did not adequately represent their interests. Is there some unwritten rule that they had to pick the ugliest fuckign people? Not a single attractive person in that picture, not one.Trump making it clear to Big Mom:

The legislative branch has totally consumed the executive, and the judiciary is subsumed within the same administrative bureaucracy. It would have been better to have a king. That was by design. Fuck it you have to have at least 425 lb deadlift to be in congress.
They should have to be able to squat 200 pounds below parallel
All politicians should have to be able to break a katana in half with their bare hands.
Term limits is less about forcing people out and more about fucking with the incumbent advantage and making the parties actually run every race, the DNC and the RNC would bleed money fast if they had to run actual races across the nation every couple of yearsUnpopular opinion obviously but I think age limits or term limits would be like putting a band-aid on a "booboo" that really needs stitches.
