Personally i blame the 5 shitheads of atheism around 2010. They killed god, but people needed something to replace it. So we got this political religion. • Dan Dennet - I honestly can't remember anything interesting he did beyond being a proto-influencer
• Sam Harris - Good at debates, but drank too much SJW-juice
• Christopher Hitchens - Honestly very cool and fun to watch in debates, but good lord were his fans insufferable. Hitchens earned his snarky demeanor from the life he lived, but when 20-year-olds tried to act like him it was like watching a child walk around in their dad's shoes (except they throw a tantrum if you tell them they aren't actually a businessman).

It was these assholes who birthed the whole SJW movement. Few of them like Sargon have gone on to regret what they did and have pulled a 180 on their stances.

Ironic... as the SJWs "strawmen" all the time by making up convoluted BS motives for what they see as yet another form of some "oppression", and demonizing perceived villains. Also BS because there clearly are the "woke", and the crap they dump out really is BS. The endgame of such a tactic would be yet another way SJWs try BS-ing people into being "woke", by framing that delusional way of thinking as the way of thinking, while happily "calling out" dissent as some buzzword for "wrongthink" ("racism", "sexism", etc.).

Because it can’t stand on its own merits. Capitalism has its faults, it’s not perfect, but people trading goods in a market both win - the seller gets money and the buyer gets a useful item. Capitalism is beneficial (yes, I know many caveats, I’m talking the basic ‘I have a thing you buy it’ concept.) even animals trade - penguins trade pebbles. Trade benefits both sides.
Communism doesn’t. It’s an artificial construct, that TAKES from one lot and gives to another. It’s unfair. Even animals know when you’re scamming them.
Communism, all the things like it, can only be ENFORCED. They don’t grow organically like the trading economy would. So you need something g to control and enforce it and that’s where the cult behaviour comes in.

I still recall seeing some WIRED magazine in a campus bookstore store in the '00s on "The New Atheism", with spooky spoopy looking photos of those "Four Horsemen", with "no heaven no hell just science" boldy on the cover. At around that same time, in a Barnes & Noble, I saw "The God Delusion" by Dawkins and also "God: The Failed Hypothesis" by Victor Stenger. That "God Delusion" book was even mentioned in a Family Guy episode around then. Looks like there was quite the push for "The New Atheism" around that time.

This is why I've always wondered if the reason some atheists support transgenderism is not because they really believe "Trans women are women" but because they think that if they prove that there's more than two genders that it'll prove the bible wrong. I'm not defending the Bible because it does have confusing stuff in it, but it feels like some atheists support things out of spite against Christianity. I had one recently tell me that he wants religions to be removed from society and that people who can't accept that god doesn't exist need to grow up. This was the same guy who thinks you're an evil person if you don't affirm a trans person's gender identity. Why is it ok for people to play pretend with someone who thinks they're the opposite sex, but the idea of a deity existing and making people happy needs to be removed? Another example I've seen is the existence of aliens and UFOs. Some atheists I've seen only believe aliens exist because they claim it'll kill Christianity. It had nothing to do with the possibility of alien life existing. Forgetting that if alien life does exist and are human like when it comes to intelligence that they might worship their own deities.

My dog has her own little economy. Every type of treat has a value. Cheerios are pennies, animal crackers are dollars, Fruitables(basically dog fruit snacks with vegetables) are 5 dollars, carrots are 50 dollars, and so on. It can get obnoxious at times because of stubborness induced inflation. I've tested her ability to count by saying I dropped a certain amount of treats and dropping less than that. She waits for me to drop the rest.
