Nintendo Switch (Currently Plagued) - Here we shit post about the new Nintendo console, The Switch

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.

#1 is no shocker, #2 kinda is, but I've always enjoyed Genesis more than any other retro system.

#3 IS a shocker, I didn't think I stuck THAT many hours into it. For the record, the Survivor Mode DLC is pretty kick-ass and is where you go to unlock the rest of the moves for all the characters (including the retro ones) so i guess that's where the hours come into play. Didn't bother trying to S rank all the stages on all the difficulties because fuck that noise.

I'm actually speechless... I had to double check my Switch to make sure this was right.

Granted, I've played plenty of PC games, emulated old games, all that stuff, but the Switch has been dead to me this year. Even Mario Party Jamboree couldn't save it. I'd probably really like Echoes of Wisdom but just haven't gotten around to it.

(I insert every physical game I buy and download updates / get it to start at least once so might as well say I bought 40 something games this year)

I didn't finish SMT5, had fun with what I played but I kept not playing it so I gave it up. Pretty down year tbh, I'm surprised it's even this much.

January is mostly Raging Loop + Star Ocean 2.

Depth Loop is coming out soon, so if you finish Raging Loop you'll be ready for the sequel.

I played 320 hours across 5 games this year, and nearly half of those were Xenoblade 3, a 2022 game. What a shitty year for the Switch.

edit: The others were Hogwarts, Balatro, SMW and Picross S9.

So I guess we all just sit around and talk about Nintendo without playing any games?
This hasn’t been the most exciting year for Nintendo, everyone’s kinda just waiting on the Switch 2. Besides, there’s one new “Nintendo” game that I did put probably 30-40 hours into: TTYD’s Tower of Trials mod. It’s great, and it got a lot of the remake’s bad taste out of my mouth.

I played TotK and retro games. That is consistent with my personality. Good job, Nintendo.

I was pretty surprised just how little I played though. A couple months of TotK and then like 15 hours of other things. I could have sworn I played more than that. But apparently not.

Not surprising, I've played plenty of Switch games this year (with way more hours than this) but once I got Ryujinx working on the Steam Deck I stopped using the Switch itself

Now I just use it to rip cartridges lol, my wife got way way more out of hers this year, I swear she was playing Animal Crossing everywhere she went for a good while there
