True, but Kat has made that effort before to leave Subaruman even if her choice was a sidegrade at best. Phil is an energy vampire with the way he drains happiness and motivation from everything he comes in contact with. A few compliments here and there and treating her like a normal person that exists to do more then break random shit around the house 24/7 could give her the motivation to leave Phil.

This is the thing I find most fascinating about Phil.
With most lolcows, it's pretty obvious why they are they way they are when you look at their upbringings/early lives: generally, they tend to come from broken/fundamentally messed up homes, be born with serious mental/physical abnormalities, and/or grow up under enabler parents who never properly disciplined them, but this doesn't seem to be the case with Phil. He grew up in your typical middle-class suburban household, and while his parents probably spoiled him a bit as a kid they didn't seem to be Bossmanjack-tier enablers; they were willing to punish him when he crashed his car, so it's not as if they were letting him run hog wild doing whatever he wanted without consequence.
Which just begs the question of how exactly Phil got to be such a massive egotistical asshole. It's true that some people are just born-dicks, but Phil is extreme even by born-dick standards, and he seems to have been that way right out of the gate. You go back 20 years to tophaters.com and Evo and Phil is exactly the same obnoxious jackass he is today, snorts and all. Hell even as far back as age 13, with the Wolverine story, the guy was an entitled prick.

Just like when he gets his ass kicked in Street Fighter he'll blame the mouse and keyboard and probably drop 300 dollars on an expensive "gaming" mouse and mechanical keyboard. I also suspect that he is going to get obliterated so hard that he will not commit to trying to get good with mouse and keyboard and just go back to being a casual forever on controller.

Has there ever been an instance where Phil did something stupid, died, and didn't blame some external factor for it? A moment where he went "my bad, that was pretty dumb" and just moved on without bitching or going "oh mah gawd 🤦‍♂️"?

DSP + Christmas emotions (which are kind of normal for lots of people) + DSP's current mental state being so far gone that multiple people have commented on it + DSP being in the post-money buff (almost in the full desperation more) stage of the DSP cycle + "liquor taste tests"

He's done it in Street Fighter a couple times when he's been matched with big name FGC members that he can't label pattern playing scrubs without catching heat from everyone. I want to say the last time I remember him doing so was back in June or around there and it was painfully obvious that he was having a silent meltdown over not being able to talk shit.

He does sometimes admit that he fucked up. This is not humility, however. He does this so when he eventually wins (or believes he'll win) he can brag about it. After all, if he calls the people he plays against idiots all the time his wins won't mean that much to him.

E. The RGB lights in the keyboard keep distracting him and its the dents fault for making him buy it, so now he'll have to buy another $500 keyboard with no lights.
