Wahhabism is a negative descriptor placed upon followers of that movement, and not something they would ever call themselves. Calling someone a Wahhabi basically means they're a retard who wants to blow themselves up (and also implies they follow Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab instead of Allah). They would instead describe themselves as Salafi or just as Sunni (ahl as-Sunnah). So right now both sides are trying to blame one another for what happened. 1. Airbags deploy based on accelerometers. The car has to hit something hard enough to trip the accelerometer for the airbag to deploy.

2. I haven't seen or analyzed the footage, but I would have to first ask how he ended up being stopped. Did he crash the car into something solid and then get pulled out by the police? Because if he did then that's probably when the airbags deployed. They probably would not deploy after hitting people.

3. There's no such thing as a car that optically detects signs and tells you you're going too fast, modern cars all use GPS navi systems which have speed limits for sections of roads loaded into them, so the car knows where you are and how fast you're supposed to be going, and yes it will beep at you or flash the speed limit on your dashboard when you're exceeding the limit. This is not always accurate due to changes in signage (I've seen my car tell me it's a 50kmh zone when I'm on a motorway). EDIT: I am gay and stupid and it turns out there totally are cars that can recognize road signs.

4. It makes no sense to me to make it so your car is physically incapable of driving the wrong way on a road, or into a street with a "no entry" sign, but it does sound like exactly the sort of retarded handholding nanny bullshit the EU loves to implement, and it would be right in line with continual ratcheting of more and more control the EU state has over the ability of its citizens to freely travel. "We have to protect the children" and then one day your car won't move out of the garage because it heard you say "nigger" on the onboard microphone and sent that information to the Polizei, or will shut off as soon as you try to leave your region and tell you you're not allowed to drive too far because it's bad for the environment.
