So while browsing 4chan I had stumbled upon this interesting post that was a timeline of events that occurred which led to Current Year becoming the norm with all of the retardation that we see today, and I thought that I would show you guys. Now I did modify it a bit to sort some unsorted articles and a few events which I think should be added in, and the major events are indicated by an asterisk by it, so here is the list of events starting from 2007.

2007–Facebook expands to non-college students, iPhone invented, Tumblr invented*
2008–Great Recession*, Writers Guild of America Strike
2009–Henry Louis Gates incident, Racefail
2011–Elevatorgate, Occupy Wall Street*, Obama's “Dear Colleague” letter 4/4/11*, Beginning of Great Awokening.*
2012–Kony 2012, Trayvon Martin*, “A Rape on Campus” (UVA rape case)*, Anita Sarkeesian/Feminist Frequency becomes popular, Obama re-elected*,Smith-Mundt repeal*
2013–Donglegate, Decision of George Zimmerman Trial*, Rise of Emma Sulkowicz*, “Hope I don’t get AIDS. Just kidding I’m white” (Justine Sacco tweet), NSA scandal*
2014–GamerGate*, Isla Vista Killings and #yesallwomen, UVA Rape revealed to be a hoax, Emma Sulkowicz mattress protest, Black woman assaults white guy over dreads, Michael Brown Shooting and #blacklivesmatter and #handsupdontshoot*
2015–Josh Alcorn and the rise of the Tranny Acceptance Movement due to Bruce Jenner trooning out, Dylann Roof and SC Confederate Flag controversy*, Ferguson Riots*, Emma Sulkowicz becomes a libertarian, Ahmed the Clock Boy, Paris Attacks (maybe major), Gay Marriage Legalized*, Jessica Valenti NYC vid, University of Missouri protests over student organization, Yale Halloween costumes controversy, Baltimore Riots*, Migrant Crisis*, Trump announces his presidential run*
2016-Oberlin College bakery incident, Gay cake controversy, Orlando Shooting
2017-#MeToo

What do you guys think of this list? Would you say that this list is accurate? If not what events do you think should be removed from this list, and what events do you think should be added to it?

I honestly would say that it all started with Columbine. That's the first time when MSM started to cover an individual's internet presence in detail, and that's current year is really about, people who are unable to separate what's on the internet from what's happening in reality and who try to make the later go more in line with the former

I think that Project Chanalogy should at least get a mention, and of course all the Prop 8 fiasco back in 2008

You need to go back to the enlightenment or at least Marx. All this stuff has foundations much deeper than Obama he was a symptom more than a cause.

The biggest seed of division in this country was not that incident, but rather Obama's comments following it. That's the temporal singularity in my lifetime when I can distinctly remember the first time the country ever felt irreparably divided.
I'd have chalked it up to the obamacare fight.

"Please don't do this, you're going to fuck it up and make it more expensive."
"But... BLACK MAN! The only possible way you could disagree was if you were RAYCISS!"
"But the speaker of the house said that we need to pass it to find out what's in it and the congressional budget office is screaming fucking rape and wasn't it designed with the input of the insurance companies?"
"THAT'S IT! WE'RE PASSING IT AND YOU"LL LOVE IT, BIGOT!"

There was a lot going on 2009=2010 those years and it was all part of a piece. Those were the years that Obama suggested that Fox News should be regulated, Dissent went from being the highest form of patriotism to the most common form of racism and the DHS leaked a report to CNN that the biggest terror threat was from returning veterans and they dumped that on them when they were coming home to an economy that had been ravaged by the sub-prime crisis.

I dont know if its good or bad that I dont know what half that shit is but I would say it started at occupy wallstreet, facebook becoming public and social media just being popular isnt really a threat on its own its more of that it was co opted at a point and became a threat which I believe to be around the time occupy wallstreet happened.
Most would probably agree that the events after and during occupy wallstreet are what started the elites agenda towards identity politics that led to current year.

I'd add whatever date the Devil was given dominion over this earth and all the kingdoms therein.
most likely whatever year your profile picture was drawn in

I don't have the graph handy but the frequency of articles about race and racism increased exponentially in the immediate aftermath of OWS. It is a direct parallel to the Tower of Babel: the working class came together to oppose the financial elite, and the financial elite responded by using their control of mainstream and social media to sow discord amongst the working class and divide us against each other over identity politics.

The second Eternal September of the iPhone and social media certainly played a role, but OWS is the ground zero of wokeism because wokeism is a manufactured response to OWS.

If you're old enough to remember it, you know what I'm talking about. You may not have put together the causality, but you felt the shift.

Sure, you can go back decades and decades, but it's not a bad list and I like the OWS theory. Would separately note the Access Hollywood tape October Surprise and Trump winning in 2016 since that caught many off guard and led to its own bullshit like the Pussy Hat March.

9/11 and the PATRIOT Act really did a number on our timeline.

There was an article in A&H yesterday that if you look past the obscene amount of Zionism actually brings up an interesting point. Obama's entire modus operandi via his political consultant David Axelrod was all about selling an "aspirational" America, starting with Obama himself. It works by reminding the average American they're backwards in attitude, but they "know" they don't want to be, so they should be the bigger man and back whatever cause is being sold. Such as voting for Obama and backing whatever leftist policy is being pushed today. It discourages association with "wrongthink", so makes it easy to hijack businesses and pretty much the entire upper class.

Needless to say, this melded with the internet and social media algorithms and censorship to become super effective at executing what is essentially a Cultural Revolution. Since Obama took over the Democrat Party after Hillary bombed in 2016, this explains why culture seemed to get hyperleftist after Trump was elected and especially after Obama's puppet Biden was installed. My disagreement with the article (beside the Zionism) is saying it was all Obama's idea--I think Obama was just a middle manager for far worse powers who pitched the idea, and because his idea worked so well he got a promotion after 2016.

Point is everything you see here is a direct consequence of Obama's strategy, and is why that when "elect Obama and worship him" ceased being novel, they moved onto more and more insane things.

Your list is really good, but you need 2012 Innocence of Muslims, a stupid movie about Muhammad which made Muzzies upset and supposedly caused the Benghazi attack (Obama said some stupid shit afterwards), the 2015 Charlie Hebdo shooting, where leftists said "Well it's bad, but they were racist and offensive and drew mean pictures of Muhammad", and Hillary's basket of deplorables comment, which was an appalling attack on most of the country and probably helped lose her the election.
The biggest seed of division in this country was not that incident, but rather Obama's comments following it. That's the temporal singularity in my lifetime when I can distinctly remember the first time the country ever felt irreparably divided.
To me it just sounded like stupid shit, one of the first times Obama really showed his true colors that he wasn't the nice hope and change out to save America from billionaires and foreign wars in the sandbox but something far, far worse.
You need to go back to the enlightenment or at least Marx. All this stuff has foundations much deeper than Obama he was a symptom more than a cause.
It's not Marxism since actual communist countries only loosely had/have anything like Current Year. Like homosexuality was defacto illegal in the USSR as a bourgeois fascist perversion and there was pretty much zilch affirmative action (beside Stalin and his clique, all the party bosses were Slavs or before Stalinism, Jews) beside highlighting token minorities as good commies to sell Bolshevism to Muzzies and other non-Slavs/Jews.

Current Year ideology really came from the 20s-era Italian commie Gramsci, who outlined the link between Marxism and culture and the possibility for subversion. From Gramsci came the Frankfurt School, who laid the groundwork for cultural Marxism, and then Michel Foucault who melded it with postmodernism.

I'm having trouble finding this movie available to stream online.
IIRC it was just an extended length trailer that made the Muzzies go ballistic and got Democrats to condemn the director. And even that got censored because an actress in the movie sued because she had not been told the content of the movie. All sorts of weird censorship surrounding it, sadly.

Also I almost forgot it, Pastor Terry Jones in the early 10s was on fire with trolling Muzzies via Koran burnings. Muzzies would go insane and blow themselves up in the Middle East every time he burnt a Koran, he was banned from entering half of Europe, and Obama went on long rants about how awful he was and the government persecuted him for all sorts of bullshit to get around his free speech rights.

Yeah allow me to answer this shit in song

While the specifics don't exactly line up, the general message is fucking Iron. Societal retardation, obsessive fawning over degeneracy as proof of one's own daring exoticism, overt cult behavior from virtue signallers latching onto the most obscenely despicable and inane bandwagons imaginable despite not believing jack shit, mindless bending over backwards by governments and institutions for the most overt grifters and psychopaths imaginable, and every other root cause of woke currentyear shit have been recorded in human history since the literal fucking bronze age.

You see the base acts of public hypocrisy and false piety and frenzied worship of false idols for social advancement and obsequiousness towards infinite authority and fanatical censorship of wrongthink and wrongword recorded in religion and myth stretching back from the Bible to Greek Myth to whatever the fuck the Ancient Chinks were up to

Do not be so vain in thinking the cancers that infest society today are unique and egregious because of the modern paintjob that they are given. Go back to the 00s for an answer and you will find the last fumes of 90s PC. Go back to the 90s and you find the embers of anti-reagan/thatcher screeching and New Age retardation. Go to the 80s and you find the bitter failures of the leftist movement of the 70s. Go to the 70s and....well I think you can fill out the rest

The very first instance of modern woke was atheism+.
All the ex-fedora people from the 2000's will probably remember that.
At some point during the era when Hitchens and Dawkins were "superstars", this atheism+ movement showed up that attached identity politics to atheism.
Suddenly, it started to matter what color your skin was and who you liked to sleep with.
That was before the Wall Street protest woke takeover, I'm quite certain.
I'm also 90% sure that it was that retard Matt Dillahunty who was the guy who pushed it into the mainstream atheist movement, I vaguely remember him being at some event on stage with some Anita Sarkeesian looking women and talking about atheism+.

I never really hear people talk about this when talking about wokeness and that is, in my humble opinion of course, the beginning.
Basically, in an era when atheism was seen as the smart and reasonable movement rebelling against the outdated religious practices, they attached themselves to that so that the woke would be seen as the reasonable ones.
That's one of the big reasons why atheism is on the decline nowadays and people are going back to Christianity a lot.
The image of atheism has been ruined for years to come.
Now atheists are the unreasonable ones who, instead of believing in water turning into wine, they believe in a man turning into a woman.

It's a pretty decent surface level list but this rabbit hole is so fucking deep it isn't even funny. Shit like Weather Underground and Cass Susstein's Cognitive Infiltration. There is a lifetime of political insanity that has gone towards the current Clown World and all the bullshit we have seen.

There was an article in A&H yesterday that if you look past the obscene amount of Zionism actually brings up an interesting point. Obama's entire modus operandi via his political consultant David Axelrod was all about selling an "aspirational" America, starting with Obama himself.

Yep they made up a entire network of NGOs and shit to lie and gaslight the USA towards how they think. It's why they were so mad Trump called it fake news, he was pretty much destroying a decade of work.
