Came across this piece of Wuzzery, made by some basketball American. I am not knowledgeable enough to call him out on most of this, but "Gnawa" is what Moroccans call a nigger minority that lives in Marrakesh. They were brought in as slaves from West Africa where the Kingdom of Ghana used to exist, hence their name. So this nigger is definitely full of shit.

Oh yeah, and that Kemet shit is totally made up too.

as someone who lives in africa i can say that this is almost completely innacurate
vodun (commonly known as voodoo in the rest of the world) isn't a culture
punt isn't that far south
toubou doesn't control tuareg land
all nubian and nilotic lands are labeled as kushite
egypt is distinguished from kush even though they had nearly the same culture
damat is an incorrect romanization of ደዐመተ, which is correctly romanized as d'mt, da'amat, or damot
d'mt is also further north
generally the borders are horrible
also, not to mention that both d'mt and medjay people come from arabia and aren't african

it's unbelievable how entire countries who's population should've died out ages ago are being kept alive, and ones who would've been perfectly content with growing at a slow to near nonexistant rate thanks to natural selection are absolutely booming in size instead, because countries far more advanced have completely forsaken their own development and cultural stability in favor of keeping them alive

there are people out there who complain that we're still keeping pandas alive despite their own desire to die out, but have no problem with what we're doing here with africa
at least we only have a couple of small generations of pandas in controlled environments who won't breed, not a whole continent breeding out of control
that, and pandas don't smash bodegas or subject us to terrible music in public

The Nguni people (Mwari is a god, so I'm not sure why it is included in the ethnicity) were not that large until the Mfecane (started by other African groups, namely Zulus, attacking them, and driving them away, thus starting a period of massive depopulation and instability) in the 1830s. I don't even believe Bantus (like the Nguni) were in southern Africa in the stated time period, as they only arrived there in the Bantu expansion. Interestingly, the city-state that a lot of blacks like to wewuz about, Great Zimbabwe, was actually destroyed by the Nguni, and is not included on this map.

San were, and are, extremely primitive hunter-gatherer nomads with very little in the way of established 'civilisation'. Allegedly, they still use the same types of tools today as they used 44,000 years ago.

Twa, similarly, are very primitive forest pigmies, who only live in small scattered communities around that general area (and a much bigger area into the areas labelled Punt), with probably much fewer than 100,000 people in total. They are also probably not that ancient, and quite possibly developed in the same Bantu expansion as the Nguni, after a long period of isolation. They do not have states, or anything reasonably defined as a civilisation, really.

I'm not sure why the Medjay are in Somalia, since they were allegedly some kind of group in the Kush that we know little about except they were probably nomads, subject to Egypt. For most of history, a medjay was just an Egyptian desert ranger with no unified ethnicity.

Modern day Puntland is in southern Somalia, but the historical 'Land of Punt' was basically just an extended Eritrea and Somaliland. It seems to me like this person has just taken every possible location of Punt and incorporated it into a single landmass, with everything between the possible locations belonging to this mysterious Punt people. They were also subjects of the Egyptians, and depicted exactly the same as the Egyptians in drawings (i.e. not black).

Numidians were Berber, who are still there, and are not black in any way, shape or form (neither were ancient Egyptians, but we all know that, neither were most Nubians, listed under Kush, until much later).

The population of Africa in 1950 was only about 100 million. That’s 100 million too many but we made a huge mistake playing White Savior over there.

yeah, again, i have to ask the same question i asked already
why? maybe that's a very civilized thing to ask, maybe you have to be more self aware than they are to ask it, but i just can't wrap my head around it, i can think of many reasons for violence- necessity, an altercation, hell even just straight up uncontrolled anger, but with these people it's so common and moreso so random that i just can't wrap my head around it
