"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Does onlyfans use something other than stripe? Can imagine they worry about being debanked.
They had problems in the past with payment networks threatening to stop providing service to them. Which led to them panicking and outright banning any nsfw (for like 2 days) then implementing pretty strict rules about disallowing public facing nsfw content (i.e. profile pictures and banner images) so anything pornographic is behind a subscription barrier (even if free).

Not even the jewish porn site is free from being debanked by credit card networks.

I know my bank allows me to have them auto-mail a check on a designated day each month so if you can get that up and running it can be set up as pay and forget as a subscription service
Most banks allow this very simply through your automatic bill pay.

Actually Null, most banks it's very easy to get put on as a recognized vendor. Makes it very easy for people and tells you what banks see everyone's money as green.

Knowing that folks generally don't want to do crypto as a transaction and that ads are cancer, I heard that websites inject a crypto mining code using a chunk of the visitor's GPU/CPU.
I have no clue how the website is designed and I am barely literate with computers and crypto but if it's true it would be neat.

On December 23, 2024, the Committee on Ethics (Committee) released the attached Report regarding allegations relating to Representative Matt Gaetz.

The Committee previously noted that there has been a significant and unusual amount of reporting on its activities during its review of the matter of Representative Gaetz, and much of that reporting has been inaccurate. The Committee’s investigations are conducted confidentially, but the Committee’s confidentiality rules do not prohibit witnesses from disclosing information about the Committee’s requests or conversations with Committee investigators. To the extent that any of the public reporting on this matter came from unauthorized disclosures of confidential Committee information, we strongly condemn such unauthorized disclosures, which are damaging and harmful to the Committee’s work.

we already did that. we were one of the first. we got banned from coinhive and we ended up on every firewall in the world.

kf gets banned from another payment processor, here comes the "have you tried?". yes, the answer is yes, i have tried.

Like where you have an entry in their system and people can just select it from the list instead of people having to enter your LLC name and address.
In my 37 seconds of Internet searching it looks like there's no central clearinghouse so one needs to be added to every single bank. I thought QuickBooks had a way but I wasn't able to easily find it.

Presumably once the bank sends you a check from one of their clients maybe they include a "How to get electronic payments from us" link or similar.

But to start people would need to start Bill Paying with regular checks to begin with, which almost any bank will handle with a Company Name and PO Box.

we have bank accounts, not processors.
I'm sure you're more than capable of doing your own PCI compliance and integration. Just how far out have you looked? If you build an AuthorizeNet gateway, you should be able to integrate MIDs almost anywhere.

That said, I know your detractors are the biggest butthurt bastards out there- there has to be SOMEONE who will process for you, even thought it's "high risk."

We are banned from authorize.net

Most recently tried the guy that was doing payments for gab and he ghosted me after big promises. Straight up went from accepting my application and calls on the phone to not returning emails

Most integrators have an AuthorizeNet compatible gateway, so if you have one written, it should be as easy as moving to their POST after some minor integration. Of course, if you were still in Europe, there would be a chance to possibly get Euro MIDs with a company there, but as a US citizen, you can't do that.
