That thread has devolved into such shit though. I'm doubtful anything else good will come of it.

I guess I'll never understand how goons operate. The second the thread dies down it's "Mods! Mods! Gas this thread! Close it down! REEEE!" Because apparently they're locked in and can't just fucking leave.

When I left it had become:
-crying about mean words
-mods and admins popping in to make a point of letting everyone know how much they don't approve of how Lowtax runs things, and how they truly wish they could gas the thread and go back to policing words.
-longcat spamming
-people getting perma'd
-more handwringing about hurtful words
-"well at least we're not kiwifarms"
-goons abbreviating kiwifarms "KWF". Is it Ki Wi Farms and I've just been reading it wrong?

Thread is closed because some goon deemed it "bad" and spammed meme pictures for multiple pages. Mods did nothing, but were not above using that as an excuse to close the thread for the fourth (?) time. The user in question got banned by Lowtax, then permabanned by Lowtax's wife, yet had both reversed already. @Lowtax is being undermined by his staff so fucking hard right now. :story:

It's shit like this for about ten pages. At this point some other posters are still trying to talk around them to make Shmorky jokes and post their favourite chatlog exerpts, but these angry babies will not be dissuaded from tanking the thread. Eventually it devolves into Black Baby Goku just spamming longcat until Lady Ambien comes in and locks the thread under the mistaken belief it's turned to shit and everyone needs a cooldown, instead of just the spastic babies throwing tantrums. She perma's BBG for good measure, but it's immediately undone by the other admins because apparently Lowtax and Lady are turbocucks.
