I wish they'd stop using 1:1 mocaps of real actors in games, generally. I think that's at least partly to blame for the wave of ugly-ass models we've seen this generation: no matter how good a job you do it always has that uncanny valley feel. I felt the same about her co-star in the Jedi games; the actor looks fine in real life but his in-game model has a Crimson Chin underbite that is distracting in every scene. Same with Debra Wilson's bug eyes.I don't even have anything against her as a person (no idea if she's a fucking idiot on social media or whatever) but I just wish she'd go away. Or at least do voicework without being modeled in.
I assume this is done because it's way cheaper to mo-cap the same actor for the model and voice as opposed to paying artists to design something original, but it makes every modern game extremely unappealing, visually (and that's before you get into the motion blur, FOV and chromatic aberration shit).
