Once upon a time, I recalled seeing a Christmas promo for NBC. It had Trump in it, and it was made by Rankin/Bass, the guys who made all of those stop motion specials. For years when searching for it I'd come up with nothing, presumably because all evidence that Trump used to be a media darling had to be purged in the wake of the "orange man bad" lockstep. Eventually, I found some posts about somebody whining about how a Rudolph DVD had Trump in the special features, and managed to track down that DVD and rip from it, to restore this media that probably isn't "lost" so much as "very annoying to find". Later, I found it more easily on dailymotion, uploaded by some euro media preservation project, but didn't search "Trump" to get it, but rather "Regis", the reason why that worked will be clear on seeing the video.
Anyways, without further ado, I present this lovely piece of media, to be archived in this thread. Thanks for listening, and have a Merry Christmas
