It would have been the same as with the Afghan cell phone network towers. Taliban kept blowing them up until, the populace, even in the outback, came to realized just how damn useful modern communications is and got fed up with the Taliban blowing the towers up. And told them to knock that shit off. Which is exactly what they did. From what I remember they even ended up posting guards on some. Because of scrap metal merchant's.

AP is right. A rail network would have been a brilliant move. Economically wise and as a showcase wise to the populace of Afghanistan.

Looks like Biden's attempted frenship with the Talichads has worked to some degree as they killed the ISIS planner behind the Kabul airport bombing.

ISIS has remained a huge problem in Afghanistan, with bombings still regularly occurring. In a bald and bankrupt video its mentioned that a recent bombing in a market killed 20, and it was dangerous for him to stay in one place for too long as he may be targeted.
I doubt the taliban did this as a favor for Biden/America, as its just standard peacekeeping efforts

Decided to follow up on the Talichads on Google news results.

See how they doing.

The Westoid shitlibs and feminazis are still obsessed with them.

Well they did just re-implement public stonings as punishment for adultery 😎

Oh well, all those feminists in the West should have joined up to waste Taliban... Oh wait that job is for the men they despise. Oh well

At some point between the billions upon billions of dollars, years, and thousands of lives we were sacrificing trying to turn Afghanistan into Middle East Seattle the Afghans needed to lift a finger to contribute if they really wanted to live the Western lifestyle we were forcing upon them.

But they didn't. Turns out they want hardcore sharia and women covered in blankets not tranny pride parades and feminist struggle sessions. So why not let them live how they want if they want to it so badly?

They'll whine that the odd Lisa Simpson or Waylon Smithers analogue isn't going to be happy living under typical Middle Eastern society but how do you think hicks feel about the libtard countries they live in? All the societies we've figured out are compromises that screw over different groups to different extents and I don't see leftwingers crying when they come out on top and disenfranchise the people they don't like. And again theres only so much you can do for someone even if you were helping them if they won't help themselves.

Its funny how they're still whining and sore about the Afghans reverting back to doing what they want, the unspoken implication that we must intervene and 'fix' this somehow when these same people also constantly whine about warmongering by conservatives and cultural imperialism.

Are you familliar with the pictures of Iran in thr 60's?
Ultimately, adversity breeds faith. America took on the role of a hostile invader that was after the natural resources like oil, and generally attacked the culture and way of life of the people. That forced them to retreat into a faith strong enough to defend against it. You can see the opposite effect in America, where the people grew fat with the wealth of indulgences allowed to them, and slowly lost their faith and became athiest.

I bump this thread to bring it back from the dead, Russia had strenthened its link with Afghanistan.

Russia’s Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu announced that Russia would remove the blacklist status from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) in anticipation of a lucrative trade and transportation deal.

The Trans-Afghan Corridor railway service will connect Afghanistan to ports in Uzbekistan and Pakistan. The 573 km railway is expected to cost between $4.8 billion and $6.9 billion, with construction beginning in 2025. This will simplify transit as cargo will be able to reach Pakistan in Uzbekistan in 3 to 5 days compared to the 35 days it currently takes. The line will also incorporate road transport. Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Russia, and Belarus all have a hand in this major project.

Now there are numerous variables for concern. Pakistan and Afghanistan will need to maintain strong diplomatic ties. Afghanistan has a notoriously rough and unforgiving landscape, and the line will need to operable in extreme weather conditions. Numerous nations, especially Pakistan, needs to rapidly fix its infrastructure. The presence of various extremist groups in the region are concerning to all involved.
