Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

Attack of The Clones is underated and my personal favorite of the whole saga. Why you may ask? Two words "Christopher Lee".
Pure kino. I saw that and the two towers back to back and it was awesome. Absolutely blew my mind that he could barely move in AOTC besides his hands. Lucas did a good job making him look mobile and vibrant with various tricks.

Goes without saying but he was way cooler in the original lore too

The mutt failing to use the lightsaber got a laugh out of me. That's what should've happened when Rey or the Nigtrooper picked up the lightsaber. Wish he'd died then and there, though. That being said, his screaming face would make a good wojak, I think. It's reminds me of all the real life mutts and niggers who throw fits because life isn't fair and they deserve more gibsmedats.

Some good news. They found a working near complete build for battlefront 3.

It's for the Wii but you wouldn't know that from looking at it.
People forget how good Wii games could look because so many of them were either PSP ports or slapped together by studios who just didn't give a shit.

I had some time to kill so I watched the newest Skeleton Crew episode and it's gone full retard. The eternal treasure of At-Attan is an Old Republic mint which explains why their money is so pristine. But what good is a mint that prints money of a government that doesn't exist? That'd be like a German finding an old Deutsch Mark money printer and printing his own Marks. Great job, you now have 20 billion Marks which are worthless. Are they implying the Old Republic was on the gold standard? Does no one in Star Wars know what inflation is?

Before Disney SW EU certainly had writers and creatives more than sufficiently and delightfully autistic to cover the Republic, Empire and New Republic policies on inflation if anyone actually wrote it. Of course that part of the EU isn't really in the novels or comics but in the section where the Star Wars Yt-1300 Corellian Freighter (Owners Workshop Manual) would be located in.

Watto knows. That why he said that Republic credits are no good at his store.

The directors were too busy trying to duplicate One Eyed Willy's Treasure from the Goonies and they were too stupid and too afraid of trying to do anything different to make it make sense.

Even the Phantom Menace pointed out that not every world took Republic Credits. In fact that was a major fucking plot point, which makes this even funnier. But that would go against the 1 per 1 rip off of every 1980s coming of age treasure hunt movie cliche possible, and making their home planet the treasure was all they were willing to do to make it a twist.

The mint is utterly retarded. A massive stash of pristine Republic Credits would actually have some collector value even if the currency was worthless. But new-run credits wouldn't be worth anything.

Also you're missing out that they are ripping off the EU here, clearly inspired by Thrawn finding the lost fleet of Republic warships.

Honestly that's the only thing I don't entirely hate in this nigger infested show. The Old Republic credits are clearly valuable throughout the galaxy (as seen when they're on the artificial asteroid planet they stole from that EU comic with the cyborg guy and C-3PO), perhaps being seen as collector's items or because of the material they're made from. Either way, they're desirable and as long as the pirate retard doesn't show his hand and reveal that he has an infinite source of them or the banking Jew aliens (not to be confused with the slaver Jew aliens) don't catch on, he's set for life.

Also I hate that the Hutts are just a joke now. They used to mean something. They used to be the scariest motherfuckers in Star Wars. Now they're just visual gaga.

Also since everyone always gives me Star Wars shit for Christmas, I got Star Wars Bestiary (woke bullshit from the POV of genderbent Lor San Tekka from TFA that autistically tries to explain why the Eopie farted on Jar Jar in TPM), Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire (something I'd be interested in if it weren't Disney Star Wars and written by an academic), a Lego set with Jedi Bob (seriously, fucking Bob, what kind of Star Wars name is that) and Ackbar in Clone Armor, an action figure of the cuck elephant, and another godforsaken Baby Yoda doll. I'm about to tell everyone to go fuck themselves and never mention Star Wars to me again.

They have to pay their jeet Muslim Transgender gaffers their DEI bonus or else nothing will ever be okay again

Disney admits in the most corporate way possible The Acolyte was shit.

It's funny, I remember when official Star Wars guidebooks and encyclopaedias on the Trade Federation and the other CIS megacorporations would mock euphemistic language like this.

The fact that Outlaws is so forgettable is the most damning thing about it. It's not even fun bad, it's just completely uninteresting.
I saw MauLer play it and it just looks like Ubisoft slop. Some interesting ideas and locales but all their 'open world' games are the fucking same now. Assassin's Creed, Far Cry and Watch Doge a play in largely the same way, and Outlaws seems to have this deeply uninteresting main non-character to boot.

How does this stuff cost so fucking much?
There's an interesting reply in the comments.

Granted, that doesn't change that Andor would have had quite high production costs given the production quality of the many sets.

I would love a pool of 1488 Reichmarks with Adolf Hitler's face on it.

Its not even inflation, it is likely a new digital currency. I guess it would be worth something to collectors, but the real lesson is, the writers have zero idea how currency works.

Reactions: The Foxtrot
a Lego set with Jedi Bob (seriously, fucking Bob, what kind of Star Wars name is that)
That was the online nickname of the unnamed Jedi minifigure from the Republic gunship set back when Episode 2 came out. He got the name Bob because he looks so generic. It’s a nice homage to the 25 years of Lego Star Wars.

Also, seeing as that your family got you current Star Wars stuff, I’d recommend being specific on items. Pre-Disney merchandise is going to be expensive but you are bound to find old Star Wars books for cheap at local used bookstores.
