Economies are ultimately human driven for the benefit of humans. What's the point of importing cancer to make number go up when the end cause is suffering for all but a tiny few?

The point is that economists see you as replaceable and disposable. If an economists had to pick between a baby and a H1B, they pick an h1B because the H1B can get put to work and spend money at the Costco instantly while the baby can't. They aren't driven for the benefit for humans but the other way around, especially if motivated by infinite growth is concerned. The point is you serve the global economic system, the global economic system doesn't serve you.

Seriously, what's with Western government and wanting to migrate third world citizens in their countries for cheaper labor? Are Americans that lazy to where we don't want to do ANYTHING ourselves?

We will, but not for literal slave wages. They could get people to work at the apple orchards and warehouses in my parents' neck of the woods, no problem. You'd have all kinds of farm kinds crawling over themselves to do that work, cause you'd be out in the orchards or in a climate controlled factory floor doing boring repetitive work but you'd be getting paid to do shit your family would want you doing well later on in life.

But they don't want to pay you that that boring, repetitive work should require you be paid. They want you competing with literal bugmen and wetbacks for who will dot he most work for the last pay, with one side literally being threatened with deportation to a 3rd world shithole if they complain about anything. So instead of paying a fair wage, they'll just import the slaves.

Remember, an economy that is reliant on slave labor MUST collapse. We already had a civil war about this. The fact that the Democrats spent 150 years to figure out how to bring slavery back with extra steps to try and keep the uppity types from stopping them again means nothing. It MUST end.

But worse, contrast this with the siren song of globalism, where even if we did somehow stop modern day slavery in the US again, they couldn't make it because global standards means we have to compete with fucking China, Vietnam, India, etc for who will do the most work for the least pay. China can make socks 6 for a dollar and still make profit, because if the 5 year old making the socks stops they shoot her and get another one.

The only way this ship rights itself is an economic collapse and a nice global war. China being blasted into oblivion -- wouldn't even take much, one missile to the 3 gorges dam would do it -- and the Iron Dome not getting refilled on our dime for a few months would probably be a good start.

A couple American journos in Israel were sent into solitary confinement cells by the IDF for "aiding the enemy in a time of war".

The journalists were reporting on the Iran missile attacks on Israel on 1st October 2024. I am not sure if this is the same area that CNN was operating in but it seemed like it.

Surprised they were not shot. The journalists did get the shit kicked out them by the IDF before being detained though.

One the released journalists, Jeffery Loffredo, gave his accounting of what had happened. Apparently, RFK Jr. was a big help for getting Loffredo out of the detention. The IDF, according to Loffredo, were just taunting the journalists and let the Israeli ones go while throwing him (the American) in jail. The prison Loffredo was in is called the Russian Compound, Moscobiyeh, allegedly where prisoners and Palestinians are tortured.

The guards seem to think he was a terrorists (or a journalist) from his information sheet. So they preceded to treat him like shit.

The court system's judge did not seem to think he was a spy so tried to give him a lighter sentence but the Israeli intelligence agents said that Loffredo was a threat to Israel and had top secret information.

During another court session, another Israeli journalist, from ynet news, testified on Loffredo's behalf and convinced the judge to release Loffredo within his second day in Moscobiyeh.

Only for the Israeli police to repeal that decision after the repeal date had past and threw Loffredo back in jail again.
