I think it's even more dangerous as when you get into that "Satanic" ideological framework, you begin to believe you're transcending "good and evil" when it comes to things such as death. That's usually how they can make sense of worshipping these energies which call on them to perform rituals involving human and animal sacrifice, because you've abstracted into an understanding of reality where death is no longer a matter of good versus evil, all without having to enter into "illusion" territory either. The illusion in that instance could very well be the notion of it being either good or evil. From there, add in the belief that you've broken through into becoming God yourself, and then you are simply working with demonic extraterrestrial energies which feed off the energies put out by the death of humans and animals.

How does he navigate life while living with these delusions? The only explanation I can think of is that he is narcissistic and this whole "wizard/prophet" persona is a grandiose false self he's trying to present to other people, for the sake of receiving narcissistic supply. But with him claiming he's being spoken to in real time by gods makes me doubt it.

Can anyone with an actual background in psychology comment on this? It would be nice to know if there are definite signs this is something other than schizophrenia that aren't obvious to untrained observers. Or if it's a genuine, by-the-book case of psychosis.
