A lot of these students are educated in shitty bilingual schools or international schools with a slapdashed curriculum and taught by a revolving door of mouthbreathing English speakers from any country besides the US or UK. They go into these Universities knowing jackshit and either fail or more likely passed anyway to keep the tuition fees coming.

The worlds best and brightest can come to us when they have something useful to show. We need to put American students first to help build that industrious and prosperous America that people voted for.

It’s a horrifically bad idea. Even a vetting process isn’t enough. Every hostile or even ambivalent nation will flood this country with agents and spies to penetrate the schooling system more than they already do. They can get citizenship and circumvent ITAR, circumvent checks within the military and the political system. We already have problems with foreign agents and it’s just going to create more.

Until I see a full process and plan, it’s a legitimate criticism of Trump to even think about sponsoring this policy change. It’s bad. Objectively.

It was confirmed to me when he was discussing mass firing of low/mid level government workers. We were not talking about managment or political appointees making 6 figures that are going to land on their feet no matter what, but working class employees making 40-60k a year doing low level jobs.

I can't stop thinking about Vivek thinking people should have idolised Screech from Saved by the Bell. IIRC, he wasn't regularly shown to be smart or studious. There were some early episodes where he built a robot and he hung out with the nerds sometimes and got Tori Spelling as a nerd girlfriend, but overall Screech was an idiot with almost no ability to manage normal social interaction, who was always taken advantage of and was a bit of a sex pest.

Jessie was the ambitious, studious kid, with the above average but not spectacular IQ who achieved high grades through hard work. She doesn't work for Vivek's analogy though because in show, she was also a cheerleader with an athlete boyfriend, whose work ethic was admired by her friends. While Zack wasn't just a dumb jock type, he was shown to have an incredibly high IQ, who didn't need to be studious to achieve well, but he was hardworking in his constant business ventures and schemes.

I'm now feeling resentful about having given this very dumb show more thought than it ever deserved.

I talked about this like 2000-ish pages ago, but at my job where I interact with a lot of people daily, Indians are the absolute fucking worst. They're always either unable or unwilling to listen to directions, and constantly escalate situations until I'm forced to call a supervisor.
Spics can be obnoxious, sure, but most of them have been here long enough that they have a kid who speaks fluent English. Poos didn't start coming here until like 5-10 years ago, so they're all fuckin' first gen immigrants.

So, unfortunately for me, taking a break from politics does not mean I get to take a break from Indians.

Im with family for the holidays and I had to call Nintendo tech support for one of them. I got an Indian woman who didn’t understand anything and asked me to go on hold. While on hold I turn to my mom and say “watch, she’s gonna get a white guy to fix her mistake.”
Sure enough I end up with a white guy, but it wasn’t an intended transfer. He opened with “what’s your name and your skill set.” Dumb jeet sent me to the internal consultant she was supposed to talk to direct has to a supervisor, so I explain it and he sends me to the supervisor, who was also obviously white and he solves the issues almost immediately.
After I hang up my mom says “Indians really are useless.”

I don’t think anyone feels like Indians are more efficient, they’re just cheap and they assume people will just hang up rather then deal with them.
