It's like he's angry that:
  • gambling exists as a thing people like to do
  • any company exists that will take advantage of the gray zone around gambling that, by his own admission, has existed forever in other markets (which he is not outraged by)
  • these same companies don't turn off a free engagement and money spigot for moral reasons
I mean, I understand the issue here is that gambling is a vice and kids play a lot of video games. But so do an awful lot of adults, and how do you take away the opportunity to do the wrong thing without punishing everyone who is doing nothing wrong? This is the same "think of the children" argument against anything.

It really is a parenting problem, and that doesn't change no matter how hard technology has made that problem.

For me personally I'm tired of my vices getting demonized because other dumbasses can't control themselves.

Soon every vice from drinking and gambling will be legislated away because parents can't do their fucking job and they want Daddy Government to do their job.

He is doing a good thing by exposing scams and he is contributing to Total Journo Death with his videos, however Kiwi Farms please record my message in a time capsule and viciously bully me should I be wrong.

He will become a lolcow at some point, kind of like how Balldo slowly descended into madness. The fame and glory will get to his head. As other Kiwis have pointed out he has been doing Youtube soyjack face in his thumbnails. This is the sign of doom, any man who would demean himself by uploading a youtube face thumbnail is a man slowly being consumed by his ego. Slowly but surely he will grow more addicted to his own delusions of grandeur and desire for fame and fortune. Perhaps he will decide to attack the Kiwi Farms and bend the knee to Jewtube and trannies. Perhaps he will follow Balldo's lead and sucumb to his hedonistic desires. Perhaps he will be too tempted by the need to put out new content and invent fake drama or attack innocent people with shoddy evidence. Perhaps he won't even do any of those things but through no fault of his own he will create a toxic fanbase that will drive him to insanity and make him a lolcow by association. Perhaps his inflation diaper vore Furaffinity account will be leaked. Perhaps he will be catfished by one of those pedohunters on Discord and be outted as a diddler.

This is his fate, I have seen the signs. Let us remember him for who he is now and let us weep for what he will soon become. I shall accept cyberbullying as punishment for my heresy should I be proved wrong.

The only reason they have "tens of thousands of dollars" is because of the speculative market surrounding skins. They have no intrinsic value and if they suddenly became impossible to speculate on, nobody would want them anymore.

It probably won't ever happen but it would be so fucking funny, I wish it would.

I also wish he wouldn't over produce stuff. "Gambling exists!" Isn't really that big of a deal IMO. I like listening to neatly packaged stories about the other types of scams and scummy dealings though.

It's not that users think gamling is not bad, it's just that with the years you realize that you can only babysit and moralfagging for so long until you hit a point of realization that it's not the "gambling" itself that's the problem, it's just that "people" are too retarded. "Gambling addicts" (I legit think this is a pseudo science meme too...) have the same level of impulse control as a nigger, so if your average retard can't even keep their life toghether (due to their biology), why even bother?

There is so much evil shit out there targeting people (drugs, porn/prostitution, loans/consumerism and other systematic indoctrination in schools), and people should care about some fucking lootboxes in a video game? For context, these skins do absolutly nothing, no P2W compared to every single game on the market and he's is essentially attacking a trading system in the video. He is playing around with the idea of a stricter KYC (ID on the Internet) and regulation on trading digital goods. If there is something people on Kiwifarms (Null) has a bad experience with is credit systems and the ability to trade stuff online, because of similar moralfagging being used to block people from trading something. The slippery slope of pandering to these underdeveloped prefrontal cortex creatures is going to lead to an even shittier future, .

That's why some KF users hate this "gambling bad" meme.

His arguments are retarded because they make the same logical leap of "guns kill people" versus "people kill people." It also attempts to completely side step the entire history of gaming culture already being linked and tied to gambling and present it as a new development. Arcade cabinets, crane games, quarter/gatcha machines are regulated by states as a form of gambling. The debates on gambling addiction caused by video games has been going on since the 1970s.

If you want to go the route of physical versus digital goods that may be the only debate that has merit. But that's the argument that Ross and Louis are making, not CZ.

Considering that the blockchain is where games are developing towards, with licensing, public ownership/trading, and crossplay achievements at least CZ isn't going to run out of content anytime soon.
