Personally, I swapped from the tech sphere to the trades because the industry is getting hollowed out wholesale, with the jobs all going to nonwhites. Ive seen enough layoff waves (and subsequent nonwhite rehire waves) to know whats coming. In the trades, there are Mexican framers and painters, but at least (for now) its good white folk in plumbing, hvac, and electrical.
