That's an entirely different argument than the one I was responding to: Britain had no justification for entering both wars. We had plenty of justification. The aftermath can be argued until the end of time, but sometimes you have to take a stand regardless of the outcome.

No matter how shit my country becomes, no matter how shit the world becomes as a result of those wars I won't ever blame the people who made the hard choice to take a stand against a monstrous evil.
Fair enough. Everything I'm saying has the benefit of hindsight. It makes sense that Britain would want to counteract the Germans, and that the neutrality guarantee for the Belgians was intended to prevent war instead of expand it's scope. The Germans were being belligerent assholes after all. Hindsight turns it into a tragedy, especially when you consider how it lead to an even greater war a generation later.

However I stand firm that letting Frenchmen, Germans, and Russians kill each other is for the best.

Edit it appears I've caused some confusion. I was talking about the UK's entry into WW1, not 2.

Habitat for Humanity is shit. The houses go to DIE fucks and single moms.

They have stated mission to create housing equity and yes they mean the DIE version.

Fuck em.
Having worked for H4H before it is incredibly hard to do DEI shit considering one of the requirements is they have to contribute to building not only their house but other houses as well. They may skew towards coloreds but those coloreds have to earn it so it turns away the worst of them. And H4H builds homes for vets in particular so they earn my respect.

Jimmy Carter was a much better man outside of the presidency. Did a lot of charitable work and did seem to have an honest heart.

That's a lot to say compared to other presidencies this country has been through.
That was his problem. You don't want a good man being in charge of a powerful nation. He will inevitably either be inept or end up corrupted or destroyed by the experience. You want a bastard who will work for you. One who is comfortable riding the knife's edge of possible damnation that contact with such power entails. Jimmy was too smart and ambitious to stay on the peanut farm, too moral to be an effective president, and too empathic to maintain his moral values in the dark light of the progressive movement.

In the end, what salvation he might have preserved from keeping his hands clean of possible civilian deaths during his term of president was lost when he stood for abortionists, faggots and troons later in life because he was moved by their tears.

and That’s why people voted for trump because he is a bastard, who for better or for worse speaks what he says And doesn’t have a filter.

The worst president since Buchanan is finally dead, we should all be celebrating.
Say what you will about Biden, he didn’t cause nearly as many problems with Iran as Jimmy Carter did.
I’d say crack open a Billy Beer, but I actually like you people.

I'm not going to celebrate the death of a decent human being. The man should not have been president, but what he did after his president spoke volumes about his quality as a human being. The spirit of service to your fellow man, most certainly those in need, is something I deeply respect.

Just a  really poor president.

I know literally nothing about the Jimmy Carter administration from when he was president. anything noteworthy other than the fact that he was a peanut farmer?

Carter had a minor redemption arc post presidency. I was too young to experience him so I can't relate to what someone like Ioseb Stalin would say about him but alas.
Theres something significant about him dying in 2024 right before 2025. Im not sure what it means. Is God sweeping it up for Trump?

Good to know he will be able to voot in 2026 midterms and the 2028 election.
