Stardom show this morning fucking ruled, too. There was a lynching.

Rumble gonna be dimes.
seems like Punk has a good chance of winning it this year, barring Dwyane coming down from Mount Rock, though to be fair Rock doesn't really need a Rumble win for him to challenge Cody and Punk can just go at whoever is RAW's champ by then, regardless im pretty excited for both the Rumble and Mania

Imagine being vince going from the king of the wrestling world who has had a stranglehold on the buisness for decades to getting benoit'd by your own company after getting exposed as a BBC scat cuck amd it being universally agreed you won't be missed what a fall from grace
its unfortunate, but yeah, dude was literally playing his own character off-screen and probably taking drugs because how the fuck are you that horny to the point of talking about black dick and Scat when you are almost 80, ive honestly never seen someone throw their legacy out in that dramatic of a fashion, as much as it sucks it was honestly for the better of the company because 2013-2021 was some of the worst periods in Wrestling, he was obviously mentally incapable of running the company by then, i can imagine the relief earlier this year all the execs had that Vince had to go.

...because 2013-2021 was some of the worst periods in Wrestling,...

I'll always remember the stories of people being told they could go home for a bit because they weren't going to be used for a couple of weeks getting panicked phone calls the day before RAW/SD to get themselves to the venue the next day because Vince had decided he wanted them to work an angle only for the script to get changed day-of so that they weren't needed at all anyway. The whole "sitting in catering" thing was real for a lot of talent.

The man hadn't a fucking clue what he was doing for nearly a decade and any success they had was pure luck which he'd eventually go out of his way to fuck up and it ended up strengthening indie wrestling, puro and ultimately lead to AEW being created. An absolutely dogshit product outside of the containment zone of NXT which was essentially a Best Of indies and international talent at the time.

Vince had one storyline for most of his latter years. Brock/Roman/Cena are the best of the best but maybe this plucky upstart can beat them. Lol, nope, they fucking buried your favourite guy again. Rinse, repeat.

When you use those words to describe the twilight of Vince's career... it's kind of funny. I can picture Vince writing it all up, then doing an old billy goat, "BAAAAAH" laugh in to the air and penciling in a good ol' Brock squash.

i always pictured vince laying on his stomach kicking his feet like a school girl. drawing his booking ideas in crayon

Fuck off, Meltzer. Since fucking WHEN do you worry about the story of a wrestling angle since AEW got founded?

Also, CM Punk vs The Rock? Yeah right, I will be waiting for your "plans changed" explanation when it does not happen. :story:
"No history" motherfucker the rock coming back to hog the spotlight was basically one of punk's most famously open grievances when he initially left

"No History" yeah because Rock totally didnt beat Punk at the Rumble in 2013 for the WWE Title, hes just pulling shit out of his ass, also theres only two people Rock might face at Mania and thats Cody or Roman, Smarks dont even pay attention to the product even though its the worst thing ever apparently

as much as I hate to admit it, you are absolutely correct, Bucks and Omega likely enable Tony if anything, its just sad to see this retarded Money Mark take up the legacy of the Southern-style wrestling WCW evolved out of and turn it into an absolute Smark-fest that isn't much better then 4th graders wrestling on a trampoline rather then anything that could be legitimate competition to WWE, and hell ive been enjoying WWE over the past year and a half but competition is good for any industry and AEW will most likely never be a good one, imo they are a undeserved number 2
IIRC, Omega said on one of his semi-recent Twitch streams that he didn't want to be an EVP, does basically nothing as an EVP, and thinks it's dumb that he was made one to begin with.

I don't like the dude's wrestling, and he's practically patient zero for the current constant-finishers-kick-out-of-everything-no-selling-IRL-video game-style wrestling that AEW relies on almost exclusively, but he's always seemed like a relatively chill dude on a personal level. Combined with EVP drama being one of the big reasons Cody left (but that he and Omega remain buddies and talk all the time, as per what both have said) and especially given the Bucks reputation for being smart-ass shit-stirrers that existed well before AEW, I would absolutely buy that 100% of the EVP-related bullshit was the Bucks.

Which of course makes TK an even more pathetic cuck than previously thought. I could get acquiescing to Cody (the son of Dusty, one of the biggest names AEW had for its first couple of years and a great rep for the AEW brand due to being attractive, well-spoken, well-dressed and charismatic rather than the other gormless, zero personality indietards on the roster) -- or even Omega (due to his connections to Japan and TK's boner for smark-approved Japanese "MUH WORKRATE" wrestlers), but to kowtow this hard to the fucking Young Bucks, who have literally never been draws on their own merits? lmao jesus fucking christ

Wrestlemania angles can start as late as February sometimes. (or they did back when I was watching anyway...)
especially since Mania is later in April this year, Smarks tend to be retarded and need instant gratification on everything. I used to get into arguments with them on twitter but its honestly not worth it, any little thing that WWE does they dislike turns into the worst thing ever as a younger fan who never really paid attention to the IWC until like 2014 it honestly makes me wonder how insufferable they were say back in 2002, they want an outlet to fantasy book their dumb shit and unfortunately one of them had enough money to do so leading to AEW

Yeah, just AEW's overall injury rate seems to be higher than WWE's, which is strange given how much more travel and mileage WWE workers tally up.
It's because there's no one in AEW that understands that you shouldn't do spinning Canadian Destroyers on heatless weekly TV matches, and there's no one in the back to tell them to not do stupid moves that they can't do without injuring themselves or someone else. Tony certainly won't.
