I’m sure he was under orders. However, Chantal must have known the gig was up, so no point hiding anymore. She stayed quiet until after Christmas, which I can understand, given how she really believes she’s the target of at least one stalker…and she’s right about that. No point now though in starving herself of potential revenue.

I was going to type "not even Chins can spend 15k in a month with nothing to show for it", but then I remembered that she used to do exactly that three years ago. She blew more than Peetz' entire inheritance on food, drugs and a crackhead. Then the next month, she did it again!

Normally I'm opposed to writers rehashing plotlines from previous seasons, but it would be extremely funny if next year Peetz and Chins were living together again and she was regularly going round to Nadir's to get the shit beaten out of her and do crack.

I have a totally unfounded theory about why James quit his job, and it's to stop Chins from using him financially.

Chins has a history of doing this to James. She did this when they were a couple, and ended up screwing his credit for quite a while. Later, before they moved in together to the villa, James brought up the concern that Chins would screw him over again financially. Several months after they moved in together, James told Chins that payday loan companies were calling him for loans she took out. I'm fairly certain they were loans in his name, as they were contacting him, not her. She had two bankruptcies on her credit, one pending (In the US it means no loans while it's pending, not sure what the rules are in Canada.). It was soon after this that James quit his job. In my opinion, this was the only thing James, a complete coward, could do to stop Chins from using him for money. No source of income, no payday loans, etc.

With Chins basically broke and back in Canada, with a future that's looking shaky, she could turn once again to James for financial help. Except, James quit his job and put an end to that. It may also explain why he quit so abruptly, losing his bonus. James having money anywhere near Chins has always ended badly for him.

Of course, if I'm right, that 15,000.00 basically belongs to Chins at this point.

This is just a theory and could be completely wrong, but it's James so who cares?

Think you’re giving James more credit, most of the time when he’s quit his job it’s been because of anxiety and depression and it normally occurs the in December.

I can definitely see Chantal having some influence “Peetz just quit its foine, you got 15k.. can you loan me a couple thousand please peeee..peeetzzz”.

But I think in terms of Peetz logic “job is shit, im depressed and anxious…I have 15k, now I dont have to work”.

Anything could be possible though and with Chantal currently being radio silent (mostly) we don’t know what’s going on, but we can be 100% sure they are having hanging out and Chantal is making sure he pays for everything
