Shit like this is the reason I don't have a salary of $250k/yr. Not to power level too much, but I have the kind of job that if a random person heard my title and was asked "How much do you think that job pays?" they'd likely respond with something like "Idk, $250k or something like that?". The reason I don't though, or at least the reason I believe I don't is due to just how much wages have been driven down by overseas hiring and H1B's, with the worst part being they are not direct competition to me as they legally can't hold my job, but since I'm in a sector tangential to tech, my wages are effected by proxy.

The thing that gets me about the terrorists in Gitmo is that we'd have legally in our rights, under the various "laws of war," to have just shot the motherfuckers, but we arrested them and treated them like common criminals instead of enemy combatants.
