Definitely agree with you on last years win being preemptive, this year though Rackets has truly worked his ass off to win LOTY. There are few people that have speedrun their career failure quite as well.

I think next year might be Pats shot at the top prize depending on how long the MPD case goes. I’m crossing my stalker child fingers that it goes to trail and gets broadcast in some way.

100% right, I don't even remember a single bad moment from Nick in 2023 not because there weren't any but because even the least bad moment from this year trumps the worst one from last year by several orders of magnitude.

The Rackets thing was based entirely on a catfish bit that, while interesting, was nowhere near as interesting as what happened to Pat and the other nominees. And then he immediately went to another level. I'm hoping 2025 gets interesting with the lawsuit/Trump/whatever insanity.

He's really manic this week. I wonder if Niki is out.

Knowing Rick’s luck, he’s going to get federally raided (and then @Judge Holden raided) in late January, completely takeover all farms discussion for a few weeks, and then do nothing all 2025 and still lose LCotY.

Nick knew he’d have to finish strong even with his showing, and so the last-day-bankruptcy play.

Sadly, 2024 ends the same as his writing career - Huge volume of shit effort with no reward.

2025 Prediction: MPD: Case Dismissed with prejudice - no/limited recapture of MPD fees. A waste of time with little/no $$$ exchanged.
Nikky's spam posting/updoot biz will end, as all her customers will realize that AI and or the Chinks will do it for pennies compared to her.
However, this loss of income will prompt another lolsuit from Fatty (with council!)- wasting the last of Nikky's moms resources/patience.

2026 (Q1) Prediction: Nikky's mom will realize she needs cash for the balance of her life and cut Patty off completely.
Bank calls in 1-2 of the 5/6 home equity notes and mortgages that they have been living on. Starting a downward spiral that finishes 2026 spectacularly.

Rackets winning this year would be very deserved, Patricks antics on the internet can't beat the cokestream, arrests and balldoguard-cope.
Hell, I think even Destiny would deserve it more, the political meltdowns were pretty good, but a leak of him sucking cock made him into a worthy runner-up.

Last year was much stronger with swattings, his media tour, court spergery and paying Quasi.
He lost because of Nullpotism and rigged voting machines in Philadelphia.

I agree re 2023 - the Committee should step in and take the 2023 LCotY from Nick and award it to Rick; the 2024 is clearly Nick’s.

And 2023 Nick was only cowy because of his previous attention, nobody would have cared if he was just some YouTube nigger. But 2024 was an explosion that would have brought him into view even if previously unknown.

I'm a relatively passive KF user and searched to see who is running strong in 2024. I'm constantly amazed by how Rick gets topped year after year. Lolcow of the last 5 years? Sure.

But year after year, some pony comes along to edge him out. How could Rekieta lose?

It was a 3 way dead heat between Piggy, BoringManJack, and Rackets before that, so it's not like there was a dramatic comeback from way in last that this recency bias surprise propelled him over against all odds.
