You Know What Grinds My Gears? - Things that personally piss you off

With all of that said, you will never see not even Homelander himself calling anyone a faggot or A-Train a nigger, even tho he literally has no reason not to and they literally cant physically stop him from doing so.
Believe it or not, the vast, vast majority of people aren't living their lives quietly seething that they don't have enough superman eye-lasers or whatever to get away with saying 'nigger' in public.

This is what I strongly dislike about myself: I'll be thinking of some random topic and intensively research on it. Since this is a discussion forum, I'll want to share my findings only to forget about it or share it with people only for them to not care.

People who still go to movie theaters, though this just baffles instead of angers me. I can't fathom how anyone could pay money for the cancerous sludge constantly pumped into the market.
I sometimes want to go to the theatre for the experience of seeing a movie on the big screen, but every time I do there's never anything worth seeing. I got a gift card for the cinema for Christmas as have no idea how I'll ever end up spending it.

Tax: Inconsistent drivers. The same car overtook me, slowed down so I overtook them, then they sped up and overtook me again. "But internet friend" you say "how are you sure it wasn't also you who was driving inconsistently?". Well, my hypothetical poster, I was on cruise control the entire time, so my speed stayed the same the whole way through.

I occasionally go watch something retarded if it's in IMAX or some shit. So basically something like if James Cameron comes out with some retarded special effects project.

"Anybody listening/watching in 2024?", and the ones with the weird sad life story about a parent or sibling that died but they listened to this song once so I wrote a 5 paragraph biography about them in the comment section are my least favorites.

Also about youtube, that ad with the lame ass people giving dogsitting instructions makes me cringe so hard I want to hit somebody. "King Loyie has honor and likes belly scratches!" Shut the fuck up, faggot.
"This really hits different after 2020/covid"

The explainbro layer of fandom. Look, I can enjoy something and even get into interesting (to me) discussions about things if I really like a piece of media. I'm sperg enough to be on the Farms after all. But the layer of fandom that's always a bridge too far for me is the one where people start doing shit like "here's how the zombie virus could actually work!" or "I'll bet the physics of The Force work like THIS!" Guys. Hey. This thing is fiction. The reason the zombie virus "works" is immaterial unless it's a plot point. There is no "way the force REALLY works!". George Lucas made it up as he went along. The plotholes are there because this thing you're talking about didn't happen. It's not deeper than that.

Don't forget people just quoting a funny part of the video. Yep, the characters did indeed say that, thanks for literally spelling it out for us.
Adding this: People that quote a part of the video, then spam at least five or six crying laughing emojis like they think they just made the most hilarious lolsorandom comment ever.

I miss when dumb youtube comments were

The one that stuck with me was under some Stranger Things video. It was something like "I don't know if anyone noticed, but taking down the monster with a sword like that was basically like something out of Dungeons and Dragons!"
W- we noticed. Thanks.

Also, the dumbass Facebook boomer-tier stuff. Like "I don't know if this is real or not, but..." Really? You don't know if the man with the arms that phase through his bike wheel and the seven fingers on each hand is real or AI-generated?

When you find a full film on Youtube or Internet Archive and you decide to be a good neighbor and share it with your online friends only for some self rightious dipshit say "reported, should be coming down at any moment".

I hate a visceral hate for podcasts, that are supposed to be informative, where the hosts start talking about their personal life, their politics or anything else unrelated to the topic of discussion, if I'm listening to a podcast to learn how to use Django I don't give two shits if you think that there are too many white males in tech (both the hosts of the podcast were white men btw), in this particular podcast the hosts spent 50% of the podcast talking about the topic at hand and the rest was them talking about politics, shilling their courses/books or saying self-serving things in general, I also tried to watch a podcast about web dev stuff and in the first episode the hosts introduced a special segment about stuff they bought recently, one of them said that he bought those shitty adjustable dumbbells because he wants to get in shape, why would I care if someone that I don't know and I don't care about bought adjustable dumbbells?

Not only that, but I made a real effort in finding podcasts about various topics and 98% of them are the most uninformative, ego masturbatory, retarded waste of time you could think of, one thing that I like saying when talking about this with friends is that I could watch 50 episodes of this shit and barely learn anything of value, that is terrible if the entire purpose of me listening to this is learning while doing something else, even using my internal voice to think about stuff I need to do or to think about solutions to problems while I do chores would be a better use of my time.

I also hate how they clearly try to sell you garbage products that they created, such as classes or books, when I could get the same information online for free or from a better source, I understand that for them a podcast is a marketing tactic in order to sell their products, but I'm not paying $80 to learn Javascript from your stupid course when I could learn it for free, and this shilling is also a waste of time.

I got a call allegedly from my bank. It rang as "TOLL FREE NUMBER" so I ignored it. The message was about a check I had written(true) and the amount was correct but the number the call was from and the number they told me to call back at didn't match anything on the Internet except a scam list. So I first called the main number, they said they have no alerts for my account and it was probably a scam. I called the number they gave me and gave them no info and asked if I could call the main line or if they had a listed number. They gave me a 3rd number. Also listed as a scam and not on the bank's website. So I called that number and once again asked if the main number could transfer me, they said yes, ask for "This Department Name", fine, call main number and use the magic code and finally have some confidence that I'm really talking to my bank.

For telling people "Never trust someone pretending to be your bank." They sure are shit as making sure you can actually trust them when they do call.
