He is really deep in debt and I know pretty much all billionaires are but the basic assumption for taking this debt is that their shares would continue to increase in value, this is becoming more and more of an impossibility.

Elon's last home was Trump but Trump might very well betray Elon, either because his base is mad or more likely to not be upstaged. Implying the money to buy tweeter was elons. It wasn't. AFAIK most of it came from investors.

If tweeter goes bankrupt then he'll look horribly inept but it likely won't impact him financially in a significant way.

This is one of my biggest issues for Trump and it definitely is the case with Elon. For Trump it’s like he’s always on election mode, looking to expand to coalition or whatever. He thinks the base is locked down, and to be honest he’s right because to a good amount of people in the base even questioning him is basically being a traitor. Elon, though, I think his main goal was always be to be the darling of the Tumblr/Redditfag Millennials.

If it turns out one of the groypers attempted to carry out a Jihad against Musk and the Trump administration because he had them banned them from Twitter, I will actually lose my mind. True he guest starred on an episode of the big bang theory for christ sake. I think what threw a wrench in that plan was that this demographic rapidly turned on capitalism. I know you might say they were never pro capitalist but the big name leftist in the 2000s were people David Pakman and Michal Moor who yeh supported more welfare but were still capitalist at the end of the day now it's people like Hasan Piker.
