Coffee sperging:

Different methods of brewing coffee can make coffee taste better, but it's only going to be noticeable if the coffee was good in the first place. If you make a drip coffee and you can't stand it black, the most expensive coffee setup isn't going to fix it. Don't worry about the fancy brewing methods, just buy small bags of random coffees and try them however you're making it now. Take a sip of it black, and if it's gross go ahead and pour your milk into it. If you find a coffee that doesn't taste gross, then start experimenting with different brewing methods to make it better.

It's like cheese. Finding a good wine pairing for a cheese can make the cheese better, but you shouldn't be spending money on wine to make your Kraft presliced cheddar taste better.

Quitting is an option a lot of people have suggested but I've never been able to. Ever. Not having caffeine makes me feel like I'm half asleep and my brain is one of those pin coushins just staked through a thousand times hindering focus.
If you're serious about quitting you've gotta plan for a chunk of time for dealing with withdrawals because that's probably what you're experiencing. It's difficult to find time because you've gotta commit to letting yourself rest and I mean really rest.

I've quit drinks that aren't water or herbal tea, and then if I'm sick I'll go for sugar free electrolyte drinks. It sucked fighting withdrawals but my sleep health has improved dramatically.

I pretended to be a tea snob for a while. I was given white tea, loose leaf. Was really good. Used a tea infuser, basically a reverse french press. Still sweetened it, but it didn't need much. Obviously tea bags need nothing but hot water. These days I use Stevia with no obvious side effects except posting on KF.

Obviously for coffee there are also smaller setups like a french press or Aeropress or whatever the new fad is that take up far less counter space.

oh trust me, i know.

I switched to coffee because it's easier on your body but I can't drink it black because coffee is a putrid taste. I add milk, and a lot of it.

talking at least F2~B6 up to d1~A4 if I really splash it in.

so that's at least a cup of milk, 120~150 calories. if I drink 3 cups of coffee a day (EASY) that's like eating an extra beef burrito from taco bell every day.

I've thought about either investing money and time into getting a coffee brewing station that *might* make such a deluxe level of coffee I can acquire a taste for it, but that's a lot of money, a lot of counter space, a lot of shit to haul around when I move again, and it might not even work. It's also a maintenance level that something like instant coffee, a kuerig, or drip coffee just doesn't require of you.

My other options are tea, water+caffeine pills, or to try and quit caffeine.

Tea is an appreciable option I've done before but I lost my equipment in a move so I stopped. I've never tried caffeine pills (something about taking pills is weird to me), but I will try it.

For me, overnight cold brew can make a roast smoother than drip brewing a lot of the time. Especially since whenever you drink something cold it'll just taste less intense anyway. Cold brew can be more concentrated, so if that's still flavor intense you could water it down a little. You can do it all in a mason jar like in Joshua Weissman's video. But as @filthypenguin says you should shop around for a bag or whole bean roast you like black. Holding back on a machine now and putting that money towards experimenting with just sticking different roasts in a mason jar sounds like a good strategy.

I refuse to believe this is real, you are shitposting right? Which one was the real appeal?

If you unironically got unbanned by doing this, it's the dumbest media platform out there, second to reddit.
I am 100% completely and totally being honest. That is the exact appeal I submitted and it was approved in under 10 minutes. I was notified by someone posting on my profile before I got an email for it.

Take the proffee pill. (Protein powder mixed with cold coffee.) Gives me both the energy to work out, and the necessary protein for building muscle. But it also helps even if you don't frequently exercise. You can get flavored powder and it kinda tastes like milk-shake. I like vanilla so far the most, but sometimes I'll blend chocolate powder with some peanut-butter and bananas and stuff.
