Honestly, having a good credit score in the USA is easy so long as you are financially responsible. Pay the money you owe and there will never be an issue. It should be patently obvious why revolving credit cards is a bad idea.

I moved to the US 5 years ago to learn my UK credit score doesn't copy over. I didn't even exist to the credit unions here. Not even having a bank account for 2 years helped at the time.

I took out a secure credit card for like 6 months. Stuck a Netflix subscription on it for 6 months and got the security deposit back and a bigger credit line over 2 years. Enough of a good score to get a house too.

It's not hard, long as your not dumb with the credit.

Weren't there also posts in that thread linking the New Orleans attack with the Cybertruck attack?

The FBI announced right away that the New Orleans attack wasn't terrorism, then some politician in New Orleans was like "nhieurhieaeathoituh3iouaieth4ept9348wauhergjhnaeoirgjhioergh" which, in English, means "yes, this was a terror attack." Then the FBI backtracked and said it was a terror attack, so I don't really believe them when they say the New Orleans attacker acted alone.

And your local credit union probably has options available to unfuck your credit. You already mentioned secure cards, and the NCUA has frameworks in place for loans for people that have burned their finances to the geound.
