Europe exists for the purposes of slaving away at making luxury goods for Americans, providing Americans with attractive women to fuck, and occassionally doing something profoundly stupid and thus providing comedy to Americans.

I think the only major offence one can hold against America, in which they made their bed and took on the mantle of being responsible for European affairs, was their intervention in the Suez crisis. France, Israel and the UK tried sorting out a foreign affair on their own, and after they had effectively won against Egypt, America ordered their withdrawal from the Suez. Now, you can call the Euros and Jews limp dicks for listening, but it was a demonstration of American influence over Europe as well as showcasing America's decision to effectively police European disputes, inside and out of Europe. Vietnam was also arguably a consequence of America's desire for this, as America took over stewardship from France after the latter withdrew.

Americans themselves aren't to blame for this. We see it with voting in Europe. People get elected on one thing, end up doing another, etcetera. In the UK conservatives are (or were) tarred as the right-wing, anti-immigration party. You see how that worked out. I think it's a mistake to hold voters and the peoples responsible for the actions of their government, since it should be obvious at this point the government is a wildcard on whether it listens to the whims of its citizens or not.
