The lowest common denominator unifying factor amongst liberals is that they have too much time. Either they "live" on gibbs and spend all day doing nothing because they can't afford to do anything so they waste time blogging on twitter and tumblr, or they "work" in "journalism" or "academia" or similar, which is code for wasting time blogging on twitter and tumblr. Their entire existence revolves around filling time with words about other people and things, real or imagined, because sitting in silence runs the risk of introspection.
