Because only a small number of people in an organization can hold real power, while the rest are really along for the ride. If you expand the House to 4,350 members, what happens is you'll have thousands of "representatives" who have no power whatsoever other than voting the party line, and a small clique who actually propose all the bills. There's a reason we capped it at 435, as it was already starting to get out of control.

We are officially going back to Dorsey twitter. Free speech sure didn't last long. Only happy thoughts and nothing critical of the system. The archive is completely different to what i see and it removes all critical posts. Musk also started restricting replies to paid only and encourages others to do such.

If the House of Representatives was to be greatly expanded the following factors have to be considered:
1. The United States still has a two party system even if theoretically constituents could more easily interact with their representatives in person
2. Most states would still have their state legislature control how congressional districts are drawn
3. Unless changed every member of the House would be paid the same $174,000 each.
4. The political power of Representatives from smaller states (which already isn't that great) would be even more statistically diluted and make them have even less influence.
5. The larger size of the House could make it more awkward to handle and operate, there are only so many Committee spots for people to be assigned to for example.
6. The Capitol may have to be redone or be made larger to contain all of the new members when Congress is in session.

Borders/Illegals listed first means this will probably actually happen, which is good.

Election Reform. Well, it is on the list, which is better than nothing. I have doubts a real proper watertight solution will be implemented. Best case is super transparency, max anti-fraud mechanisms, and easy effective remedy methods. Worst case is Microsoft ElectonGuard™, Digital ID, and privatized contractors. Least effort is copy-pasted Florida laws forced on other States.
Ending Congressional insider trading is all but impossible. At best, I imagine a public PR win that hides the bribes and graft behind closed doors where the plebs can't see it.
I remember a time, only just a mere month ago, when expanding US territory was seen as a fantastical folly. Trump wants to prove John Glubb wrong and Make America Great Again.
