IMO it should sound as non-confrontational as possible. If you want a neutral term for researching and posting legal information, something like "phonebooking" conveys that tone even if it's a bit cumbersome.

LFJ can use "unmasking" because that entire enterprise is hostile to "bad people", but if the whole point of this is to make the farms seem as neutral as possible then that's the main priority for a term.

I think simply “archive” is the best alternative and accurately reflects the purpose of this website. Also works in that it can be both used as a noun and verb.

That's another thing I wanted to say. An archive needs to be accurate. Wordfilters make it less accurate. If someone posts in a quote, it needs to be that exact quote, not with phrases switched around and Chris faces put in.

Doxxing is a wonderful word and I hate that journos (read: demons) exist; they rape common language for fun and we are expected to sit and watch?

I suggest we use a degen term so that they latch onto that and accelerate the degradation of the common tongue once it has been adopted and twisted to mean something else. (Bonus points for causing them to sound even more retarded post adoption)

For the people suggesting "docs"/"docs-ing" and dossier(-ing?)/doss I like both of these but they're just too similar to dox. I'm coming around on infodump/dump because the noun form is sensical but it's still cutting it pretty close with dump vs. dox.
