I have 0 investment in stickers and in this topic, and this means that it is paramount that all of you know my opinion.

1. I think if stickers or what OP did somehow makes the site work slower for everyone, then the options should be disabled. Speed is the more important than reddit karma.
2. If stickers and the OP script has no effect on speed, then disabling it is what a soydev would do. Soydev phenotype hates when people use the software not the way soydev intended. It is incredibly petty and a sign of a low IQ.
3. I don't see why it is retarded that some people navigate the site that way. This is not something I do, but Ebussy meme with "what's the usecase?" exists for a reason. Let people do what they want, especially if they write the scripts themselves.
4. I suppose if the issue is site navigation, modifying the "Watched Threads" would be better? Say, add some sort of options where watched threads pop up in notifications only when certain amount of "Activity" (Stickers+Posts+Highlights) is achieved? And then the users can control the exact amount for each thread, signifying the investment and interest in the specific thread.

I actually agree. This place kind of has a hostile (dare I say toxic?) vibe it didn't use to have to this degree. For a place murdering literally billions of transwomen and being alt right neo nazi chuds it was actually fairly laid-back and a slice of old internet where things just weren't that serious. This has shifted somewhen in the last years. I hope it's not turning into another edgy reddit, god knows we don't need another one of those.

If these stickers cause so much grief, just remove them IMO. It was nice to know that effortposts are actually read by people but if this leads to people turning into social media monkeys hunting the updoots then remove 'em I say. If that makes those people leave the website: good.

If you use sticker page to navigate this site, or to see which threads have new replies, then this site needs better features/options to let you do that, because doing it via a sticker page is a user hack that indicates poor intended user experience.
