First attempt at an OP, so I might not be entirely on point, but here goes...

TJLC refers to The Johnlock Conspiracy, the belief that the writers of BBC Sherlock have always intended John and Sherlock to end up in a romantic relationship, and constantly include subtextual clues within the show for raging SJW autists true believers to find.

This has led to an almost cult-like Tumblr community being birthed into existence from this phenomenon, shortly after The Sign Of Three originally aired in 2012.

But why am I making a thread, you may ask?

The new episode of Sherlock is...definitely something. But regardless of whether you liked the episode or not, the finality of the ending and it's lack of flaming hot gay buttsex queer representation has led to what can only be described as a pillar of fandom salt. In fact the TJLC-ers are in post-election Hillary supporter levels of denial and are claiming that the entire episode is completely fake and the real one with all the gay will air...sometime, I guess.

I would have posted this thread in the Salt Mine, but the pre-Sherlock episode content is funny too, so I thought a Tumblr forum thread would be better. (Also the pre-episode salt from those who are vehemently against TJLC because they rabidly ship other things can be hilarious from time to time as well).

And now for the fun stuff, because of course:

Enjoy.

Says it all, really.

I love the "this show needs to cater to ME because I haven't seen enough gays in television" even though they could probably find lots of other super gay media if they looked hard enough, but then they wouldn't have anything to whine about so instead it's "WHY IS X NOT GAY AND WHY DOES HE NOT PAUSE TO HAVE A RAUNCHY MAKE OUT SCENE WITH Y EVERY 2 MINUTES?????? REEEEEEEE??? I'M LITERALLY SHAKING RIGHT NOW??? #queerbaiting #fuckyoumoffat"

Lol. Good find, OP. I thought these tards died out by 2014 but I guess I was wrong. I love how they act like by making Johnlock canon was the only way to esure gay representation in the media. Uh, have they been living under a rock for the last five years? There has been plenty of LGBT representation in the media, especially recently. They're just salty that their fanfic didn't become canon.

It's doubly ridiculous because they're not even complaining on behalf of actual gay men being under represented (notthat there isn't plenty of gay representation). They're just salty because there aren't enough gay make out scenes for them to get off on.

I've seen a few people actually saying the last episode was fake and the secretly filmed one with gay stuff in it some crazy BS. Will go hunting later on for that.

I did consider making this thread as I watched the crazy building online. One of the shittiest things I've seen these fans do so far is to go after one of the show's creators, Mark Gatiss and call him a queerbaiting whatever and tell him he doesn't understand gay men. His husband might disagree there.

I'm a huge fan of the books and really liked this series, as usual toxic teenage/20something fan girls (lots of mlm tumblr types in there too) ruin it. I think they had intended to make another series but from the charming reaction from the fans (and Guardian newspaper) I think the cast and crew have had enough of the fans attitude and demands.
