Best allegory i can make for what you are witnessing is Plato's cave. Wiki gives a pretty good description of it in fact surprisingly.

Those that find themselves out of the cave and into the light of KF their eyes are burnt in a combination of raw unfiltered TRUTH and CAPS LOCK. From last night's leaderboard, the Casino obtained a total of 329 subs from the top 10 donators. This is $1645 or $1480.50 after Kick's 10% cut.

The Kino Casino took 3 weeks off for their paypigs to replenish their wallets and the best they could do ON ANDY WARSKI'S BIRTHDAY NO LESS was a pitiful 329 subs, or in other words only 39 subs more than the 290 subs "WETBEETUS", who Triple P admits may have been Metokur Masochist, dropped in the first stream after the MM/Vegas story at the start of their show.

@BrokeBackPhil made a great couple of posts many pages back speculating on their Gumroad and YT earnings. The analysis does not account for taxation, but that would involve not only knowing the specifics of the Canadian tax code (technically doable, but not a great use of time) or the nuances of life situations that impact tax liability (not even doable at all). The bottom line is that even if those earnings are subject to heavy taxation, the earnings from those two sources do well exceed the bare bones cost of living in Toronto for both parties and this effectively makes Kick money exclusively as discretionary funds. Based on the tip of the iceberg that he chooses to volunteer, we know Ashton loves his gambling. PPP usually keeps his offline financial decisions close to the vest (smart), so I think it is reasonable to infer that there is at least as much gambling that isn't publicly disclosed as there is that is publicly disclosed. Warski admits to spending 5K on code for a game he is developing, so he's prone to four figure whimsical purchases too. In the gaming portion of the post show last night, Warski asserted that they have enough nuts squirrelled away to endure long breaks (if we were broke, we'd have to stream, k?) and this may very well be true, it depends on what degree of high end purchases are going undisclosed and what degree of back channel paypiggery is going undisclosed. Their earnings, even if the least generous estimations are used, still give them a great deal of discretionary income and even the disclosed unnecessary purchases don't come close to establishing financial desperation. This depends on how many undisclosed purchases are made, what degree their actual income is above the minimum confirmable and how much they engage their high cost vices. Both are legendary in their capacity for high time preference and long term planning failures. For Ashton this is a discipline problem (and a learned helplessness problem), not an intelligence problem, and for Andy this is both. They both have horrible "off the cuff" math estimation skills. I'm sure they have the ability to do disciplined accounting, but their ability to ball park reasonable sums is absolutely atrocious. There is a running joke about casino math, where they goof simple calculations and display horrible estimation skills. IF Andy was sober for an entire year plus and his drug use is currently moderate, he does appear to generally live in monk mode absent his video game purchases. His budgeting in IBS days was atrocious, I know this because of a Bloodsports when he was talking about his willingness to settle a debt on his next paycheck, but an inability to do so at that time, showing that emergency funds and war chests were not part of his modus operandi at that time. PPP did live monk mode for years and certainly has the capacity to do so, if he didn't get spoiled with easy casino money. As an aside, keep an eye on the activity of "Silent Once" He has a high sub count and it comes in the form of two shows where he was a major contributor, both post Vegas. Almost certainly a sock or reincarnation of a long standing paypig and not an organically new paypig.

Alogs, unlike ballwashers, can have and explore differences of perspective. I actually don't tire of pillstream coverage, because every pillstream is a (relatively) unique animal with (relatively) new content. I might be the minority alog perspective on that and I might come from a position of Pigholm Syndrome to some degree, but I find pillstream coverage infinitely preferable to ear rape antics. I'll definitely concede that it says something that they rely on Ralph being stupid for content rather than their own creativity and inventiveness.
