I have never seen any other person use the term "transient woman". Even googling the term brings up a euphemism for homeless women which may be a hint at how he met MamaJF. I have also never heard of a relationship with a woman that decides to randomly disappear on a whim because they're so free spirited. Is this a thing where I'm just too uncultured to experience? Or is it really just something that JFG made up to justify why women leave him. From what I've seen, if someone leaves your life without telling you, that usually means they fucking hate you. If someone disappears entirely, then they probably got murdered.

I think JFG's idea that there's a whole subset of women that decide to go live in the woods like Ted Kaczynski because that's just how wild and free they are, is laughable. I think the Toronto based firm BSLSC/Birenbaum Steinberg Landau Savin & Colraine got muddled/anonymized into "Ergenstein" and he spoke with partner Yunjae Kim, who specializes in "a broad range of family law matters with complex financial and parenting issues including complex business valuation and income assessment issues, pensions, tax issues, cross-border and interjurisdictional matters, high-conflict parenting cases, and others." Another thing that stood out to me in his self description as potentially matching JF's story was "his practical and sound advice, creative solutions to resolve difficult issues". Negative reviews online described him as rude or abrasive, doing shady stuff with money, or relying more on advice from client then his own expertise (which of true I think JF would like).

I think he contacted a big name law firm for help transferring property/money out of Elora's name into some other account, telling them she left him and there's no way to contact her etc. The legal aide screening his call was like "You can't do that, it's theft" and he kicked up a fuss demanding to speak to a named partner, and they eventually made him an appointment with the firms high-conflict cases guy, Kim, who helped him (the insane "woman who dances in the fields doesn't get the beef" metaphor ie "woman who leaves the family doesn't get the family assets").

Wild speculation, but I was really curious what the fuck the truth was behind his rant and this was the closest match I found with enough similarities/coincidences (Korean attorney specializing in complex family finance law but not trials, "Bierenbaum Steinberg" sounding like Ergenstein, far distance from any of the places he might be) that it made me

It's clear that the policewoman is skeptical and just doesn't think there was enough meat in the complaint to take any action (which, to be fair, she might have been correct about, at that point). He did make up that name though, so it is fake. The only Ping Changs I can find are Chinese. And the Korean thing is a core tenet of JF's story about this guy since he said they discussed a Korean ethnostate. There's just something funny about that aspect when he gave the guy in his story a Chinese name. Not much of an ethnostate.
