In your “tech bros exterminate all women and make babies with artificial wombs” cyberpunk doomsday scenario, who cares for the cyborg babies? All babies, even male ones, need stimulation and care or they end up like Genie Wilcher. Do you seriously expect men to do that? They don’t even do it now! You’d think the Elon Musks of the world would be single-handedly caring for their brood army to prove how women are only needed for gestation at most, and yet he leaves most of his kids with their mothers and only makes an effort with his heir.
In a cyberpunk dystopian scenario, I can see some sort of neon cyborg handmaid’s tale moment happening, but I don’t think the techbros are ever going to exterminate women. They’d be more likely to stick an old woman in a burqa so they don’t have to look at her and then set her to work caring for the cyborg babies, or maybe set her cyber-burqa to project some sort of attractive hologram waifu avatar, or simply replace parts of her with new ones so she looks younger than she actually is. There have always been castes of human that exist to do the work that the elites don’t want to do, in the same way that there are still sweatshops, we just moved them to countries where we don’t have to look at them.
You’re thinking too far ahead into the future, when you start off with based radfem thought and then veer into “and thats why the tie-dye techbros want to kill all women so they can make cyborg babies with machines and fuck each other in the ass” people rightfully think you’re insane, because the technology involved in implementing that scenario is so far from being viable at the current time that it’s still functionally science fiction.
What you need to do instead is follow that line of thought back to its beginning and think about it practically. right now that are the harbingers of this and who can I speak to to raise awareness of that? Have you written to your local government representatives about the exploitative nature of surrogacy?
