FFA might be a bunch of hypocritical assholes, but they did a pretty good job of exposing Riley and the Arkh Project scam and helped bring down Winterfox. I will carelessly powerlevel here because I AM SO FUCKING HAPPY THIS SHIP WAS TORPEDOED.

Let me explain. My PhD supervisor is a diehard Johnlocker. Diehard. (Straight cis woman in late 50s if this contextualises.)

She demanded I write an entire fucking chapter of my thesis purely on Johnlock fanfiction. I am not making this up.

I don't really like this programme, but I've watched worse, and if it was a better example of what my thesis discusses then okay, I could have cranked out a chapter on it, even though that would have brought me into close contact with one of the most fucking self regarding, toxix, self righteous fandoms I've ever had the misfortune to encounter.

But being forced to do so by my supervisor purely because it is her ship made me want to beat my brains out.

So other chapters appeared, but the Johnlock one remained mysteriously undone.

Last night I watched, enjoyed some large drinks, and toasted the torpedoing of HMS Johnlock, as I know now she will be so mightily butthurt over the whole affair that she will let me replace that chapter with my original proposed series instead, and I WILL NEVER HAVE TO WRITE ABOUT THIS SHIT.
