UN Canada PM Trudeau to announce resignation as early as Monday, Globe and Mail reports - It’s Ovah, Hosers. Sorry.

L/A
Jan 5 (Reuters) - Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is expected to announce as early as Monday that he will resign as Liberal Party Leader, The Globe and Mail reported on Sunday, citing three sources.

The sources told the Globe and Mail that they don't know definitely when Trudeau will announce his plans to leave but said they expect it will happen before a key national caucus meeting on Wednesday.

The Canadian prime minister's office did not immediately respond to a request for comment outside regular business hours.

It remains unclear whether Trudeau will leave immediately or stay on as prime minister until a new leader is selected, the report added.

Trudeau took over as Liberal leader in 2013 when the party was in deep trouble and had been reduced to third place in the House of Commons for the first time.

Trudeau's departure would leave the party without a permanent head at a time when polls show the Liberals will badly lose to the Conservatives in an election that must be held by late October.

His resignation is likely to spur fresh calls for a quick election to put in place a government able to deal with the administration of President-elect Donald Trump for the next four years.

The prime minister has discussed with Finance Minister Dominic LeBlanc whether he would be willing to step in as interim leader and prime minister, one source told the newspaper, adding that this would be unworkable if LeBlanc plans to run for the leadership.

It feels so, so, SO much longer than 9 years. Canada basically went from a largely white country with a strong economy to a browned and chinkified hellhole under his short tenure. Is it even possible to revert any of the damage?
Not in any manner you'll find acceptable.

Its more like "change of management" than a liberation and finding a path for recovering Canada. It will stay as Cuckada and get way worse before anything good starts happening, unless its too late at this point.

Really? I always saw that books were priced higher in Canada money than America money, but in general Canada tended to be more expensive. Especially Toronto. In 1990, breakfast in Toronto (juice, eggs, bacon, coffee) was $9.50 (per an article I read, didn't specify what currency though at a time it was basically $1.15 USD to $1 Canada) at a time when restaurants in America served a comparable breakfast for less than $3 including tip.
i cannot speak for the 90's as i am a 00'2 kid, over time it has fluctuated but for the most part remained consistent with USD, that all changed with trudeau and you can witness it free falling in real time after taking office,

but yes everything is more expensive and you can witness things like food progressively more expensive, Canadians are eating less and foodbanks are actually now running out of food to give to people. nobody i know can afford a car and we all go out less, instead of going out, we sit indoors playing warzone, we simply cannot afford to eat at restaurants or drink at bars anymore

So he said he's stepping down but really he just shut the government down and is staying until the spring? Lmao, what a country.
Not really a good idea to start an election so that way a new government has to get their shit together and then deal with a new american government. It makes sense that he stays in power until the libs elect a new leader and then an election happens with said new leader being the liberal candidate.

Realistically the only path to change Canada has is electing the conservative party but the conservative leader is the worst choice the conservatives could possibly have.

They're doing the Biden post-debate thing the Democrats did. They can't decide whether to just install some lame duck or go through the kabuki theater of a leadership race. The latter is more feasible since there isn't an ungodly drawn out primary process in Canada, but either way they have to go through a non confidence vote as soon as prorogation ends so its a meaningless play.

Leafs right now about to make the same retarded mistake but with Pierre. ^
This is so fucking pants shittingly retarded, I can’t believe you faggots believe this. Anyone who spends like 15 minutes looking at his policies and more importantly his history of legislative involvement knows like 85% of this is crafted by some faggot on reddit.
