I think Russ will ignore all the calls he gets today and blame Hardin for calling at inconvenient times.
This right here gets me slightly MATI with Russ. Mostly at the judge, really, since it's been several times now that serving/sending responses to the wrong address (really that the address doesn't exist) and otherwise having unproductive attempts contacting Russell has been brought to his attention.

My guess is that Russell will not answer any calls, but will call Hardin at like 5 minutes to midnight and then will quickly run to the judge when Hardin doesn't answer.
I have a slightly different guess - I could see him 'accidentally' ignoring the call, only to file something 2 or 3 days later blaming it on time zone differences. We know he is on Pacific time and he seems to believe Hardin works in Virginia based on that rant about not having to go to law school.

ETA:

This is uncharacteristically concise for the judge, you can almost sense him thinking 'shut the fuck up and stop clogging up the docket' through the screen.

Man, he was especially whiny about the extension Mr Hardin requested to respond to that, seemingly oblivious to him dragging his own feet for 4 long years.

Saying there's good cause and that Hardin has a point is going to cause some category 5 seethe-drooling.

Is the judge likely to address all the other outstanding shit imminently like gimpface's attempt to show cause for being recalcitrant, or is that just getting ignored until the responses to this are filed?

I suspect that the judge granted an extension not so much because of Hardin putting forward good cause, but moreso to kick the can yet further down the road. I know if I saw a fuckton of new filings lodged by Russhole over the holiday period, I'd probably want some time out from the case too.

The judges legal strategy: if I pretend to ignore the retards maybe they'll go away.

Why should he be entitled to getting the ooperator into a debtor's hearing when Russel is the one making it impossible to pay in the first place?
He isn't entitled. The judge is allowing Hardin extra time to explain why the request is horseshit.

I'm sure he'll be able to demonstrate quite easily that Russ has orchestrated this whole situation by giving spurious details and being evasive.

Little does the judge realize (and he really, really should realize by now) that further delays are just going to result in more and more stupid filings.

I think the Judge has realized that if he gets ENOUGH shitting filings, he can use the latter ones to moot the earlier ones.

I wonder if the case will now quiesce until late Feb.

I can count on one hand the number of times I have seen a party ask for an extension of time, and the other party refuses to confer with opposing counsel and agree to it. It's basic decency outside some very unusual set of circumstances. Better yet, childishly resisting such an extension is almost never in anyone's own self-interest because they are granted as a matter of course.

I'm pretty sure the judge is pissed getting having to get directly involved to deal with plaintiff-caused squabbles like this. There was also no chance he wasn't going to grant the request.

Greer's Law: All that is required to make someone hate Russel Greer is a sufficient number of interactions with him.

I had thought for a long time once this case moved forward enough the Judge would begin to hate Russel Greer simply because Russel Greer is such a fucking retard. It would appear that process has finally begun to occur.

Then again I'm feeling optimistic right now and that is usually a bad and incorrect thing.
