You can't help but love the way in which this thread has been nothing but markyposting, channing shit and now this. I think Sam will quickly realize that the spotlight is a 2 edged sword. Wonder if he is going to use this opportunity to challenge the roach to a box match... again
I think the reason why others would consider my posts dumb, autistic, and sycophantic- is that I understand that Sam understands this about himself. The more spotlight he gets the more his skeletons come out of the closet. Sam could easily stay in his own lane, make enough money to buy the things he wants, and take care of his friends and workers- yet he decides out of his own will to put his neck out there for things he believes in- a country that we can all be proud of as americans.
I've heard compelling arguments saying that this is a grift, and I understand their points-when they're made fairly. I just look at Sam doing these things as sacrificing comfortability for himself, to make the world a better place for average joes like me, who helped him maintain his platform.
I could be completely wrong in my thinking, and there could be some grand rug pull coming-but over the past decade Sam has not done that. He has remained loyal to his fanbase, not taken a quick paycheck, and stood up for things like forced immigration, forced vaccines, and done things for his friends that were not easy to do but ended up benefitting them and making up for what he's done.
I believe people change, I believe in redemption. I think the spitting is gross, I think Sam should be more clean- sure. But I can appreciate what he's sacrificed to attempt to make America a better place. The easier path would have been to apologize for his past actions, and do something like what idubbz did.
Working in retail during covid, I felt the immense pressure from all sides to get vaccinated. I can imagine that as a large creator, that same pressure was there.
It is very easy to look at people's shortcomings and judge them for it. I get that by and large that is what KF is for. It's one thing to make a mistake and keep repeating it. It's something different entirely to make a mistake and learn from it, and not make it apart of who you currently are. What I have seen from Sam is a man who sacrifices for his fans and friends, cares about what he puts into the world, and someone who has a deep heart. Others can look for the negatives, but I appreciate the added benefit this man has made to media and the world.
