The reason for all of this is money.
Big tech, and other businesses, have been subsidized by the Feds and by Fed-adjacent investment firms to push all the agenda shit and collect your data for the past decade or so. You tow the line, you get the money.

However, they fucked up the economy something fierce during COVID, and the investment firms aren't handing out money like before, because doing so could lead to a complete collapse. So tech companies like Facebook and Google now have to get actual money coming in, instead of making money from "advertisements."

If things can stabilize, they will go right back to the way they were before. What you've seen pushed for the past decade is what they really want. They just can't be as blatant about it after fucking things up so hard before having everything they need.

Saw this as "breaking news" on my workstation and lusted to post it first but tried to do actual work I left undone from December instead, still feels good to see it featured by admin though, knew it would be a hit story.

Fox News framed it as political posturing for Trump coming into office this month, have to agree based on the timing. "We'd rather let 100 chuds post than incorrectly punish one innocent antifa."

He is an asset of one of the biggest companies in the world and just to stay compliant with shareholders they need to have billions of dollars of life insurance policy in his name and would pay almost anything to avoid the fallout of him dying of anything let alone being assassinated by someone half as good looking and unsmearable as luigi. even non shit stirrers like Tim Cook have tens of millions in security on top of their private travel cost- which are not a perk but a requirement for the job for gigantic megacorps. it’s probably at least 20 million per year but that’s a rounding error on the balance sheet. I read that musk spent 15 million a while ago but that seemed low, was unsourced clickbait, and most certainly has gone up by now. Once the trial starts the noticeable reactions from companies will become apparent, or at least warrant speculation, but this isn’t some desperate reaction to the shooting and has probably been floating around in draft form at the c level for a long time.

It’s hard to imagine that even zuckerbergs faggot ass believes he is untouchable at his core, but he probably has a better security than trump at this point. speaking of which, THAT was the event that freaked out the highest level power players like Bezos, Zuckerberg, etc even if the cia called them personally to take credit and assuage their fears. it’s optimistic to even hope that this announcement was affected by musks tard raging but it’s fun to imagine because he’s probably melting down all over again after reading it. Meta has been slowly adapting to the reality of trump ever since the 2016 election fallout and specifically disavowed their own moderation of political content.
