I feel as if the left/right divide is getting really fucking weird right now.
I've noticed a collection of strange occult ideologies flourishing among the former right wingers I've followed in the past... I can't really succinctly explain the ideology I'm talking about, but this weird website seems to illustrate many of the ideas I've seen growing among the "alt-right" or "right wing" people lately. Note how the website is anonymous and has some pen name as the author.
One important feature of this new age ideology is that they seem to demonize Christianity and/or they push a very Gnostic view of Christianity. I'm not a "practicing Christian", but I find this extremely odd to see flourishing among the right wing spaces. I've literally seen some online bloggers go from "conservative Catholic" to mushroom-popping Satanist in the span of a few months...
There seems to be a collection of new age ideologies that are being pushed very hard in online spaces, but they definitely seem to be taking hold among the "alt right". It almost seems as if there is an organized effort to brainwash people with a strange tech-worshipping kind of esoteric "new age" religion.
You are trying to rationalize a demographic that only cares about aesthetics, religions that validate their autism, and the feeling of belonging to a "special" group, you do not need to try to come up with some Jack Chick-esque grand Satanic conspiracy about why so many based Tranime avatar "Trad Christians" and "
retarded greedy grifters Right-Wing Christian influencers" are becoming Occultist schizos, the simple answer is because they never gave a shit about any religion to begin with, and switch their views depending what counterculture fandom is hot at the moment depending on what year it is.
The Trad Catholic Nationalist to Gnostic Occultist pipeline exists because the 2010s New Atheist Neckbeard to 2020s Trad Catholic Nationalist exists in the first place, when a culture war trend ends, they jump onto the new one that is hot at the moment, and what triggers their enemy tribe, and repeat as the years go by
These people are like ADF, who changes his religious views every year, going from Catholic to Atheist to Shintoist to Jewish to Atheist again to Satanist to Muslim, it just depended on what DeviantArt/Twitter circles he was into at some points in his life, and what was the politically-relevant topic at the time.
I.e. currently the topic is Palestine, so he became a "Muslim" to trigger the Islamophobic MAGA bigots, in the early 2020s, the contrarians became Trad Christian Fundamentalists to trigger the Leftist Atheists from Reddit, and the Biden-era Gendertranny DEI establishment, just like how back in the early 2000s, teenagers became Emo Satanists to trigger their Christian parents and the Bush-era Christian Right establishment.
Younger generations are rebellious by nature, if they grew up in an overwhelmingly religious obey-your-traditions cultural time period, they will rebel by acting like Euphoric New Atheists and/or edgy Satanists, if they grew up in an overwhelmingly Atheistic religion-le-bad cultural time period, they will seek to act like hardcore religious fundamentalists who want to retvrn to tradition, but in the end, what matters is aesthetics, and opposing the current thing, not seeking genuine spiritual guidance in life, or living without any religious dogmas in the case of the 2010s Reddit atheists.
To "based and trad" internet autists, following Jesus or Allah is not an actual spirituality to have, but something that validates their pre-existing political views and makes them look badass, do not be surprised when so many internet "Christians" suddenly seem to leave the faith, when in their worldview, the only things that you do in Christianity is sperg about culture war politics and Jews 24/7.
If your theology of how the world works goes something like this:
Jews are Satanic-Masonic demons fighting an eternal spiritual battle against the Hyperborean-Agarthan Aryan Alien Order, who preserved the spiritual-racial power of the Black Sun that is maintained by the Indo-European Sky God YHWH-Jesus Christ, who protected Aryan civilization over thousands of years, and are destined to triumph non-Aryans, defeat death with technology, and colonize the cosmos with their superior transhuman technology and genetic engineering.
