This is pure cope from the ruling class because Canada and Greenland are already part of the Anglo-American Empire. There's nothing there left to exploit that hasn't been exploited already. Hopefully, this is a portent of a dying empire retreating from the world stage. It's looking increasingly likely that the Empire will fail to defeat Russia and exploit the resources of Eurasia it desperately needs to stay solvent. A victory would have marked an expansion of the Empire; reshuffling ownership of Artic territory amongst itself changes nothing.

America talking about gaining terrotry doesn't mean its in a good place as a power, economically or militarily. It's like thinking Nazi Germany is going to last a thousand years because 'look at all the territory its gained' 'we're sieging Stalingrad' 'France is deafeated and the UK is trapped on its Island'. Its stupid and bizzare foreign policy the undermines the US as an ally and state actor internationally. Greenland is not going to be sold to the US and Canada is never going to join America unless America annexes their own allies land in a war of conquest

I understand Trump's ambitions, but Canda, Greenland, or even Panama shouldn't become a state. Just make them territories.

I think Greenland would benefit from a Puerto Rico-type of deal. I have no problem giving some gibs to the locals if it means we can exploit their natural resources.

What is anyone going to do to the one world superpower? They can get glassed if they disagree. Canada has no real army. Greenland barely fills a moderate sized city. There is no stopping it. And once done the wealth will have been worth it all.
