I guess if a fire had to happen it’s better if it happened in LA but the anti-social retard posts about how it’s good for society to fall apart and fail to maintain itself are really predictable now.

Not only will society never collapse society is the only thing keeping antisocial retards alive.

I would strongly advise anyone who still lives in California to escape into Nevada and day trip back for whatever sentimental purposes compel them.

The entire state is at risk of wildfires AND earthquakes, has 70% of the US homeless population, and its government insists that everything is fine and they’re actually better than you
My old people are here and could not relocate anywhere, and I will not abandon them to die alone. My dead are buried here. I will outlast the degenerates. My family was here before them and will be here after them. I will continue to contribute to my community and be an asset to my neighbors. If all the good people leave, the problems will never correct. Despair is not the answer.
When adversity hits, some cower and flee while some endure and fight back. The only thing that happens when good people abandon an area is that the degeneracy follows.
I could not agree more.

There are many reasons to leave. But there are many reasons to stay.

Here's some videos of what it looked like before

I guess this is a Happening now? Should the thread be moved there?

Can we all just pause and stare at this image for 1 minute?

I've lived in areas that get bad smoke from wildfires. It is always quite eerie when the normal sunrise/sunset or daylight gets filtered like this. It's like some kind of Omen of Doom.

It honestly looks like the poster, or maybe the opening shot of a movie. Orchestral drum hit, and then a dissonant drone from the bass and cellos as the picture fades to black, leaving only the title card.

if i had to explain to someone who wasn't American what LA is like, i'd show them this

People who've not had to deal with fires often fail to appreciate just how fast fire can get to this stage. Responding as fast as possible when stuff is relatively small is critical. It can be can be the difference between containing a large blaze, or having having to abandon an entire subdivision to the fate in this picture because the heat is too intense and the fire advancing so quickly that you'd die if you stayed and tried to contain it.

I have a friend in LA, I believe he's in the northern part of it which puts him in the fire. I haven't heard back from him yet. Praying he's ok.
Los Angeles is like Sodom and Gomorrah in that there's one guy keeping God from smiting a giant fist-shaped crater where the city stands.

Especially if you live in an area where it's really dry like California.

Removing dams has ZERO to do with this and Trump is a tard.

The dams that were recently removed are on the Oregon border. There is literally no way to get water from the Klamath River to LA.

Goddamn, if you're going to shit up the thread with ignorance, at least make it entertaining.

Also:

Can some Burger knowledgeable with the subject educate us Euros why those huge wildfires can't be properly prevented?
California is actually retarded when it comes to brush management, other states will pay you to clear undergrowth while Cali. refuses for environmental reasons, combine that with high winds + cold weather and it turns into a giant dehydrator primed for a huge fire, not to mention their complete failure to maintain water pressure to even put it out.
