Live updates: Brush fire burns in Pacific Palisades as Santa Ana winds blast Southern California - Live video at link

Yeah but they vote against their best interests of being white for more nigger more spics more shitskins of all types that I don't pity these dumb fucks and hope everything gets burnt out and whats not burnt is looted by their pet subhumans when the smoke clears. Basically everyone in the middle of california deserves it I hope it spreads all the way to the aids infested shithole of san francisco next.
Then theyll move to your neighborhood, retard.

FYI the areas burning are the nicest, whitest, and most comfortable places in Los Angeles.
In other words, the ones most deserving of this. They are only "white" in name only, as they vote against their own interests and bring the entire state down with them. Yes, I think them being replaced by illegals, 10 to one, would be a fitting punishment.

If that Trump tweet about insurance losses is accurate, then all of us poor people here in CA are fucked. It’s already been so difficult to keep up with rising costs for homeowners insurance year to year. I wouldn’t be surprised if this puts the final nail in that coffin.

The big insurance companies basically had no choice but to fuck off and have been for the last year because the risk is so high due to the govt not giving a single fuck or doing any preventative stuff. Just not a sound business model to insure people when you know the govt is doing everything possible to allow potential claims to happen.
That makes sense. Nobody should ever trust the government, but you should always trust insurance companies. If they pull out, you're FUCKED. They ran the numbers, that's their job, they decided you're so FUCKING FUCKED that even bothering to stay in your market is negative value to them.
Insurance is a weird gamble where you're betting that your house is going to burn down and the insurance company is betting it won't. And plus they rig the odds in their favor because even if it does they'll have a million reasons they won't live up to their end of the bet.

I wouldn't wish burning to death on my worst enemy - well, on most enemies - but there's a irony to one of the most persistently anti-America bughives getting smoked out like they're late on honey payments, and for all the vitriol towards the rest of the nation that emanates from that region, turnabout is fair play for laughing at them.
Honestly, have to agree. You have people who live in Cali laugh and say that the Midwest deserves destruction after a tornado because they "vote red" and made fun and tutted people after the hurricanes last year because political alignments. Now that California is getting slammed with fires... well, you can't blame people for taking a perverse enjoyment seeing a natural disaster that's destroying lives happen to them, as sick as some people can be about it.

The worst part is, you know they won't blame themselves for being the only state constantly on fire, they'll blame "climate change" and being such a "green" state, that makes it everyone else in the world's fault
Climate change is one of the biggest government grifts there is. Elon got most of his fortune due to government gibs based on this (in the form of carbon credits). You also rarely see nuclear being touted as a solution, and it’s almost always wind and solar getting the funding (despite lack of efficiency compared to nuclear). They have zero intention of actually making a better environment, because then the grift itself would dry up.

I was thinking, how is it possible that a fire-prone state could only use seawater in a glorified bucket-line way, from fire truck to fire truck? Why wouldn't they have pulled together a contingency plan after all this time?

Of course, the answer is that they WANT the state to burn in the name of climate change. Welp, be careful what you wish for I guess.

I'm sure that there are tanker trucks in the state of California - probably a good number of them. Most rural fire departments (volunteer or professional) who service communities without hydrants will generally have at least one tanker. These are generally Frieghtliner/Kenworth/Peterbilt/Shiternational straight trucks converted by a company like Spartan. All the ones I ever worked with had a 2500-4000 gallon capacity. CAL FIRE evidently doesn't have them, but that doesn't necessarily surprise me very much. I'm sure LAFD and the County are calling in Mutual Aid as far away as Nevada and Arizona for trucks, but who knows what their plan for tanker operations is.

If I was in charge, I'd run tanker operations off collapsible portable tanks next to the ocean. Have a handful of trucks pumping directly into the portable tanks while tankers/engines cycle in and out. Call every hillbilly volunteer department you can find to drive tankers out to LA to run tanker operations day and night. (Grey-haired volunteers would commit literal murder to do this for free.) This is a really terrible solution, but they've put themselves in an extremely terrible position.

hahahahahhahahah fucking retards, they deserve everything they get and MORE.

This is just a dumb idea in general.

A lot of these old fire trucks are put out of service for two reasons: either they're exceptionally old and they're just worn to shit or that particular department has gotten a FEMA grant or similar to replace the truck with something newer. These trucks are built on truck chassises (like Freightliner or Shiternationals) by cottage apparatus manufacturers like Pierce. There is no fucking way that Ukrainian firefighters are going to get parts for these apparatuses nor are they going to understand how to maintain these pumps/engines/transmissions, because they're not sold in Europe and not serviced in Europe.

Clearly not the smartest since they still chose to still live in California.

Hopefully they wise up and move because shit like this? It's gonna happen more and more. Better if there's only coloreds and commies there.

You do realise you have nothing in the Everglades which approaches the flammability of Eucalyptus, right? You do realise that LA is a whole lot drier than Florida with weeks of no rainfall, yes? Until you have actually lived in such a place then shut the fuck up. Controlled burning IN THESE CIRCUMSTANCES doesn't fucking work. That's why cities below the tropic of Capricorn down here burn every summer DESPITE controlled burning everywhere.

I'm trying to break this down into bite size pieces for your tik tok addled brain to digest but I fear I'm pushing shit uphill.
You see this shit? It burns like fucking tinder. Don't talk about shit you know nothing about.

Supposedly several of the big insurers canceled everybody and quit the state a few weeks ago. I'm guessing they ran the numbers and said "yep! Everybody's fucked this year!"
The Californian Democratic dominated state legislature tried to use the home insurance companies as a backdoor gun registry.

By trying to force them to ask if any homeowner owned guns.

And there were trying something similar with school districts as well

It's not full of eucalyptus oil, you numbnutted inbred. You have no appreciation for the intensity of a Eucalyptus fire. The only way to prevent Eucalyptus wildfires is to TOTALLY REMOVE Eucalyptus tree forests, not piss fart around with controlled burning.

Stop making a fool out of yourself, or don't. It's pretty funny.

Ex-firefighter throwing in my 2 cents:
California refusing to refill their reservoirs might have caused this, but having full reservoirs would not help fighting this.
A fully involved home in the modern era usually takes several fire departments to knock down and contain. Nowhere on earth is prepared for more than a dozen houses on fire at the same time, let alone 1000s.
The only way to fight fires on that scale is to starve it of fuel, which requires chainsaws and bulldozers, not water. For a fire of this scale, the only way would be to make a line far enough away from the fire to ensure that the fire starves itself while ensuring it has enough time to be made, that would require billions of dollars worth of houses to be destroyed, and even more to be abandoned to the flames. That isn't going to happen in a place like LA, so they will be up to the mercy of the weather and dumb luck.
