In a properly functioning society, such a monumental failure of government will lead to the Governor and Mayor both resigning. They can't do it now during the middle of the crisis, but what has already happened is definitely resignation tier on the failure chart.

Buddy whoa. Now while Pallisades might be expensive, the Hollywood hills are also filthy expensive - with the difference the density of properties in the HH is far greater. 10 acres out in the Palisades is like burning 1 acre in the Hollywood hills.
And the HH leads to other areas, they will be making a particular effort to eliminate any spread in the HH above and beyond.

I'm optimistic things are gonna be fine where I'm at. But yeah, you the air quality is getting bad.
I'm concerned but I don't think my town will turn into an inferno lol.
If the fire swoops through, I'll try to snap a few pictures before I die with my boots on. My animals are my whole life, people are gonna have to drag me away kicking and screaming before I evacuate. If they die, I'll die with them.
